Zilliax Deluxe 3000 does not trigger Rouge's secret--Kidnap

My Class: Mage
Opponent Class: Druid

My Board: 6 Treants (after the opponent played Poison Seeds)
Opponent Board: None

Situation: I received the Rogue secret “Kidnap” last turn by playing Sketchy Stranger and played it in the same turn. During my opponent’s turn, he played Zilliax Deluxe 3000 (9 mana, Battlecry/Rush/Lifesteal, summons a copy of this minion), and it didn’t trigger the Kidnap secret.

So order of actions was…

  • you have 6 treants
  • You play Sketchy Stranger to receive Kidnap
  • You play Kidnap
  • End turn
  • He plays Zilliax Deluxe 3000

That would have left you with a full board and no place for the secret to summon a minion.

Are you aware that Kidnap works by summoning a Sack minion on your battlefield?
