Hey Team,
I got a CRTICIAL_PROCESS_DIED error after a game, and it makes it so my computer crashes whenever Hearthstone is started.
I have isolated the problem to Hearthstone, but after deleting/uninstalling everything, it does the same thing while Downloading/Installing the game again.
- In Windows go to Start → Settings
- Click on Apps
- Uninstall the Battle.net app (If you get an error, continue on to the next steps)
- Press Windows key + R
- Type the following into the Run window and hit Enter: %APPDATA%
- Delete the Battle.net and Blizzard folders inside the appdata folder if they exist.
- Repeat steps 4-6 with %LOCALAPPDATA% and %PROGRAMDATA%
- Empty the recycle bin.
Ive also re-ran driver updates/windows updates, disabled AV/FW, as well as repair tools, and nothing is showing up on that end.
I want to note that Overwatch, Diablo, etc, all work fine without issues, as its just something on Hearthstone. (Random Blue screen during a game, and hasn’t worked since)
Overall, I’m a loss on what to try next.
Regards
