Will Stormbringer buff be too strong?

Even Shaman always have the ability to flood the board and have been a powerful deck in wild even after FTT nerf. So with stormbringer able to be part of this powerful deck, will this make an already powerful deck even more broken?

Damn, didn’t think about that :open_mouth:

Oh well, to the dark side we go! (just drew Stormbringer one week ago and my Genn is also very eager to finally do something)
At least Stormbringer/Even Shaman is something more … random and fun.

I doubt it to be honest. Usually in Wild you’re either nearing a win at the end of turn 6, being soundly defeated, or both decks are at a stalemate where neither can hold onto much board.

We’ll see and I’ll fully say I could be wrong and/or Even Shaman could slot in different cards; however, my initial though is why RNG when I can Whirlwind?

I don’t see a reason to use Stormbringer over Bloodlust

If your focus in on winning rather than doing wacky stuff, Bloodlust is still far better than Stormbringer (outside Even Shaman).

I could see Even Shaman using it in an attempt at making their board more dangerous and/or able to survive a Flamestrike.

Well since we’re discussing Even Shaman that would be one reason, lol =p

I used to play Arcane Dynamo in my Evens Shaman in order to draw Bloodlust or Anyfin, but Stormbringer was often a fantastic third pick for me if the other two didn’t show up, one that has turned the unwinnable on its head.

Dynamo has since been diluted with questionable cards for an Evens Shaman, namely Rain of Frogs and Hagatha’s Scheme. However, with Storm Bringer costing 6, it might be a good compromise over Dynamo. I’ve had a lot of good fun with the card, and it might be just good enough for me to try in Evens.

This is one of those cards I’m willing to spend dust on. With all the games it’s won for me, it deserves to be properly crafted. Might even finally get around to two Thunderheads, but that cost is starting to raise up.

I personally think in Wild only Aggro Shaman would use it, which isn’t that great of a deck to begin with.
