Wild has nothing to offer but OTK and Mill decks

How do people enjoy this mode, I thought it would be fun to give it a try but not even aggro decks are played in wild because people just stuff their decks with removal and draw with a 2-3 card combo that kills you regardless of hp/armor.

I really miss aggro being popular so uninteractive decks like that didn’t exist

yeah,I made a post few minutes ago about how wild became a perfect mode for meme/cancer/broken decks players.

I’ve very RARELY come across “combo” decks that were interesting and fun to play against but for the most part it’s the exact same thing there’s no fun to be had. Going to try casual mode and pray it’s actually casual as opposed to seeing the same decks over and over again.

It’s just a shame we have to play ranked to get rewards otherwise I wouldn’t bother

Fun has died a long time ago in this game…I am always wondering how those players can feel any fun playing same decks that are literally made for people who are afraid to use a brain…
Well,I think I’m gonna go back to LoR…at least there is still gameplay fun and it is getting better and better.

Here is a member of a blizzard’s forum police…be careful what you write infront of them,Yon :open_mouth:

The only class that isn’t a mill/otk deck i’ve played against is Priest and it’s because they usually play ress priest to appease their lord and savior satan

I got to Diamond 5 last month with Murloc Shaman and Token Druid is easily stronger, arguably Pirate Warrior too. Aggro was there and it worked, but right now we have a problem in Wild called Warlock who got a bonkers card from the mini-set. I am not even sure i want to play Wild right now.

Wild is fun 'till you climbing up to gold rank, from gold rank to up you’re starting to realize why are so many players frustrated by this game

There are combo decks and there are combo decks. Don’t try playing any of these miserable and slow combos: Shirvallah OTK, Uther Horseman OTK, Mecha’thun Priest, Quest Mage Antonidas OTK, Freeze, Hound Treachery Discard Warlock, Rogue Malygos OTK, Shaman Ancestor’s Call OTK, Quest Druid OTK, Hunter King Krush/Cube OTK, Pillager Rogue et cetera, and don’t even bother with King Togwaggle and co.

Just the ones that work that I can remember right away are Malygos Druid OTK, Stealer of Souls and… yeah, just use Stealer of Souls and ignore everything else. It make any card pow pow, enemy go die and kaboom. Warlock make everyone drop to 0 by turn 5, Warlock nice. Good balance, everyone happy.

So you want other people to play aggro to keep all the wacky value decks in check?

Maybe you can play aggro too.

To be fair, Darkglare doesn’t see much play outside of high Legend despite the fact that it’s regarded as the best deck in the game.

Because it is very skill incentive, most people rather play the braindead secret mage.

Blizzard is not a very good company. But disagreeing with your cynical accusation about their gameplay “forum police”?

So anyone who denies your accusation of crimes are shills paid by the government to silence the truth?

I don’t mind playing against it but I hate playing aggro. I put 30 cards in my deck I want to use at least half of them instead of winning before I use 10 of them.

I prefer midrange/highlander/control decks. I like outvaluing or outlasting my opponent and using all the cool cards I spent so much time trying to get.

Naturally I hate mill/OTK decks because of it which normally I don’t mind them and just accept the loss, but when it’s the ONLY thing you run into for a full month it’s infuriating.

I also hate ress priest but EVERYONE hates them and probably everyone has a transform shaman deck just to make them mad

If the issue is that you want to play most of your cards, then you can play Secret Mage. It has a lot of cycling ensuring the deck is mostly played every game.

And nothing is stopping you from making it a Reno Secret Mage, since you seem to salivate over those cards.

Additionally this gives you a lot of disruption against the decks you dislike.

You probably don’t have a brain if you think Control, Combo and Aggro can’t coexist.

do you have a link to the deck? does it only exist in wild? the version you’re discussing.

This thread is completely inaccurate. You clearly do not play enough wild. I Play control decks that are not OTK or Mill and I enjoy them very much, and have a lot of success with them.

I picked up the deck yesterday, never had an easier time climbing in my life.

No idea why people think glare is skill intensive.

Because it is ? Playing it optimally is way harder than anything else.

Just because you play the green cards and win games, that doesn’t mean you’re playing the deck flawlessly.

Why do you think it sees so little play outside of high Legend ?

Also from my experience it beats the new Warlock Combo, which is rampant in the ladder, which could explain why you had such an easy time.

However, when you face secret mages, which is about 50/50, or other close matchups, bad decisions will punish you a lot more.

My experience is that Wild is now a full on Mage convention.

I felt like a dummy joining the Mage meta.

I am about to switch over to Pirate Warrior to smash Jaina’s face.
