Not for everyone. What you just is just traditional conservatism. They may have free time after all that; they may have other priorities; also games aren’t useless waste of time since they can train on various skills.
If you think games are totally useless apart from wasting time, then you seriously made a bad choice even being in the forum; you are saying that you totally waste your time; that’s total nihilism and not in line with that conservatism you were outlying.
But you’re not convincing; OF COURSE they’re not a total waste of time; gaming trains skills and even children have an instinctive desire to toy around for trailing for skills (nature doesn’t want children to totally waste their time even when they game).
Well that’s kind of my point. There’s no need to focus on things that are covered already and therefore I asked what the distinction was between an adult hobby and a child’s game. The whole ‘you need to focus on your life before playing games’ is kind of a ridiculous statement on their part.
Nice strawman. If I want storytelling I’d rather watch a movie instead of the mediocre Tolkien-rip-off of Warcraft; video games are better for training skills; some of those skills may not be found in other activities of a person.
And again if you see no growth by being around a game: I wonder why you effectively support nihilism: you are here “wasting” your time supposedly.
That’s not what we’re arguing though. We’re arguing against it because it’s a dumb and reductive take on playing games. I could tell you that I teach knife defense classes twice a week but because I play video games I need to touch grass? I’m not even offended it’s just an incredibly dumb thing to say.
I got legend twice over the summer. I don’t remember if it was standard or wild. Either way, I have to assume there were lots of bots then.
I haven’t gotten to Plat more than once or twice in either version since then. I started during the anniversary event and don’t think my skill increased that much in a couple months, or regressed that much since.
it was just a ramp druid deck with hurdle up i was able to climb thx to savage roar
or solar eclipse +savage roar
many players couldve avoided this if they traded instead of going face that makes me thing people forgot savage roar exists (meaning not many run the card)
I usually hit legend in both wild and standard and wild is by far easier to hit legend with. Games are so quick and the top decks are so strong you autowin against anyone not playing them and coin flip against those that do.
