Kind of? I keep seeing people saying they use it successfully, but I’ve only run into a couple times to varying results

Its an incredible deck but its the only deck left since 2014 that requires thinking. Why on earth is it being nerfed?
One more quest requirement or minus one durability is a death sentence to an already otherwise dead deck. Are they crazy?
It takes a lot to feel like you’ve been scammed by quest mage even though its the scammiest weapon on earth

Maybe it is an unpopular opinion but weapon should be indestructible , when an entire deck is based in a weapon a fkn viper cant ruin his strategy that easy , the deck is already weak in early so the weakness is already there

So, they are killing an already clunky and weak mage deck.
That tracks.

i wonder what the overlap is of the playerbase that complains about discover vs those that complain about whatever the Quest Mage nerf will be tomorrow.

Also as far as i know, whatever the nerf might be is currently unknown. i don’t see em nerfing it as much as they’ve nerfed Demon Seed into the dirt for example.

On the note of Warlock, i am curious to see Agamaggan’s buff. Cost reduction or stat buff i’m thinking. i’d be surprised to see the HP threshold increase.

If they remove the threshold, say hello to warlock version of holy wrath paladin

Are they even playing the same game.. all of these changes are completely left field/unnecessary.

Pretty shocked they left the 3/3 chargers that comes down as early as turn 3/4 for warrior as it is. That seems like a far more gross mana/stat cheat for an aggro deck such as pirate warrior.

Really seems like just spin a wheel on what to change at this point though because there seems to be little logic in it.

Quest is barely a winning deck, and even then only the best players can pull it off reliably.
I am no fan of quest decks, but this seems stupid to me.
It’s like they are intent on forcing leyline mage down everyone throats.

The mage quest was a design error that severely limits what battlecries they can release.

My guess is this is preemptive nerf before next expansion.

Or, they just want to rub some salt into Mallenroh’s wounds.

because they must sell warrior and priest cards/mini sets  you can see it bacause warrior and priest will not be nerfed

they nerf mage q and hunter q + nerf spiderling maybe to 2/2, then is attack druid, quest mage, quest hunter is complete useless

and nerf quest hunter (the q) because b tier is too strong…maybe maybe maybe you can win maybe maybe maybe vs a priest or warrior  and thats not what they want!

They want to force their BS new mage cards into the meta and since they can’t because quest mage is more fun on top of being better so people not even have the fun excuse.

As someone who actually climb with stuff like the new tempo mage because i was bored…

That move is gross. Not because the other deck is bad but because people should be able to play what they want to. Basically they decided to strangulate the deck to “create change” since the deck is old.

It is the only logical conclusion one player can have.

Excuse me , where u see the nerfs? in hs web i dnt see anything , id apreciate some info

BALANCE-PATCH ANGEKĂśNDIGT! Druide NERFT! Keine Pirate Warrior-Nerfs!? Was sind das fĂĽr Buffs!?

Most people are saying the same thing. It’s an aggro meta and quest mage is like the 15th best deck in the game. If quest mage took off, viper exists.

Zero nerfs to warrior but some dev got upset vs a quest mage. smh

To be honest, I don’t play the deck and never have.
But, I don’t understand killing the deck when it takes a really good player just to pilot it to a winning percentage.
If they are killing the style, what are they replacing it with?
Isn’t it quite awhile until the next full expansion?
Mage is already mediocre AF.

I think the first thing to understand is that no matter your opinion. It’s a FACT that Quest Mage is a top deck and has always been this season. It’s just the hardest deck to play successfully.

With that said i am guessing a rework might be coming because the card is limiting design space on Discovery. If it’s not a rework they are upping the requirements. Seeing as how it’s happening before the next expansion i would guess something in the new set breaks the deck and this has finally forced them to confront the issue directly.

This is yet another big twist to worlds this year along with Qualified players not being able to play in it.

There was never a chance at any nerfs to Pirate Warrior. It’s the shiny new toy and they aren’t going to destroy it.

Blizzard wants new expac / card sets to look eye-catching and appealing in order to drive sales.

Quest Mage and Quest Hunter have been around for a year, so they decided it’s time to steer players toward newer, flashier options.

If we are asking about the Pirate Warrior deck, it will be nerfed at some point, though not right now; that will happen once the deck has aged and more compelling new tools have been released.

Most likely it’s driven by wild mage issues.

It’s pretty silly how fast the quest gets done in Wild.
