Like glowfly druid. Mindlessly draw spells and mindlessly fill your board until you have solar eclipse/savagery. Even playing a secret mage variant, getting off 2 counter spells, clearing 3 boards with various abilities, I get taken out with my 34 combined health and armor in turn 8 by this dumb mechanic.
Stop making this game so unfun to play.

Because they hate control decks, that’s why. Good luck trying to keep clearing board after board of this druid deck or the tip the scales paladin deck. If you’re not playing druid or paladin, you simply won’t be able to contest the board against these decks.
Thought I’d travelled back in time then to when glowfly swarm was a thing.
Seriously though so many decks are made up of board clear cards these days that glowfly is a very difficult card to make stick. When playing token druid it is a constant battle between filling up the board only to have it cleared the very next turn, turn after turn.
So.
Druid watching their mana curve for every turn due to overload and innervates, trying to set up sticky boards/lethal every turn, combining Solar Eclipse with multiple cards depending on the situation and playing around the opponent’s removal = mindless?
But some ctrl deck drawing/discovering their removal and using it to clean up boards = smart and sophisticated gameplay? Is that it?
You think Skipper into Brute against Druid is a galaxy brain play or something? You think playing a bad deck like some kinda secret mage in the Standard meta and complaining about a playable deck is smart?
Lmao.
