Whizbang is ruining this game!

Hearthstone is about deck building and execution of that deck. Whizbang (especially since the buff) has completely taken that skill away from the game. Adding one card to your deck and getting a full OP deck is just not the point of the game. Can’t wait for the rotation

And is rotating next month. Just wait a little and find something else to do.

Isn’t really different than copying a premade tier 1 deck online
The only difference is what cards are given and if the decks are actually viable
The deck building history of your opponent isn’t relevant during your games

Come on now. Hardly anyone builds their decks from scratch anymore. Its the same with every CCG/TCG.

I guess OP was not playing when OG Whizbang was first released? Or Zayle?

Are we really that upset about Whizbang when there are bigger fish to fry in the current meta? Lol

Whizbang is not a good card to be competitive at all.

It not only negates you having to build your deck(despite of people usually just copying) but also utterly ignores deckbuilding rules while having wild amounts of RNG on top because it choices a deck randomly and decks are poorly balanced between themselves.

People thinking that whizbang would be acceptable as competitive card in ANY other circunstance that not the actual one are delusional. In fact it is not acceptable even now but i and many others are just letting it slide because it will rotate soon to never be relevant again because it is clearly bad in wild. Or in other words we are choicing to not act like jerks.

If whizbang was released as it is i would be the first saying to either nerf it or i would never play the game again. That is how dumb it is.

The card designers are ruining this game, and they have been for a long time. FTFY

Whizbang cannot ruin something which is already ruined.. it is just make it worse.. it is just the last kick into the face of the community before rotation.. making things just more complicated for those who still try to reach Legend..

The majority of people netdeck, so this is a non-argument.

It’s not like that for the vast majority. Nobody is able to possess high skills of deck building without understanding so many things about the game that such a level of understanding made them having a position higher than the vast majority in the ladder, usually no lower than 3 digits legend.

The level of deck building of the rest is low and it’s wiser to pick decks from the sites like hsguru (if you want to win ofc, and it’s a competitive game with some rewards exactly for winning, not for creative solutions)

ive played wizbang couple years now. i like it because its not the same thing over n over.some decks are funner but depends on draw.

i think people dont like it because in upsets their copied decks with unpredictable play

The only thing unpredictable about whizbang deck is what class you get, other than that if you do the research, you know how each of its decks plays

Hasn’t been that way for over 5 years now. It’s almost always about discovering a bunch of random cards instead of actually using your own deck. Your own deck comes second to the random nonsense that is spawned from your discover effects.

Now we’re just cutting out the deck entirely, and dipping into pure random. If you don’t like it, why are you still playing it every single day? You obviously love it and would never change a single thing about it if you still play it.

It does not give rank or rewards for building decks.

It does give rewards for execution.

Whizbang is fine.

Your expectations are the issue here.
