Thank you. But seriously look at that final turn. It’s the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen in this game.

I just got done watching it, my soul aches for you lol.

Demon Hunter’s weakness is sometimes not drawing the good cards. That’s pretty much it lol.

Thank you. That’s all I wanted. We all know DH is freaking stupid right now. Just wanted people to know about the time they did 9 aoe damage into 13+ face damage through two large taunts.

OP, you did what pally does - puked value with a top notch draw.
Your enemy did what DH does - put an f’ your value puking and beats you senseless with a combo that took FOUR turns.
OP, you are not owed a win when you are not prepared. FFS, tech some healing, it’s not THAT hard to beat aggro dh.

The DH clearly had great rng with that list, but you also had some bad rng with some of the cards you got in the mulligan, cards you honestly don’t want in your starting hand (you didn’t pick them, they got mulliganed into your hand).

Your version of paladin is on the slower, controlly side with some of your choices and you were subsequently never able to really pressure or trade in the first four turns. Some of that is bad rng, some of that is your pricey cards are dead in your hand in an aggro matchup.

Also, things like sahet’s pride are good in a rush deck, but you seem like you want it both ways (control and rush) in this list. I’m not sure you considered it that way.

I’ve lost to them more than a few times despite having more taunts than the OP and over 40 healing in my deck.

You don’t beat a DH that draws what they need, when they need it. If it’s their nut draw VS yours, even if you’re running what might be considered a “counter” deck, you tend to lose anyway.

I have really good luck against them with pure paladin because it’s fast enough to pressure them early and big enough that they lose late.

One can’t out heal a DH.

Yeah, I run a pretty low curve in mine and still lose to them enough that I find it quite annoying.

This is what Demon Hunter as been doing since day 1 i see nothing to be surprised about.

Taunts ,Big Boards, Healing etc the class just doesnt care what you play ,Demon Hunter you either have over 70hp every single game or you are never safe.

After i reach 20hp i start sweating and reaching for the concede botton ,some crazy shenanigans are coming my way for sure.

i dont understand the issue. the reason aggro dh shifted to altruis + skull version is exactly so they can perform massive swing turns with discounted cards such as the one in the replay against heal/control decks (mainly paladin and warrior) because the previous versions would just get locked out of the game by heal into taunt

They’re not supposed to be able to swing the game in the way depicted there. If you can look me in the eye and tell me that game was legit, you’re out of your mind.

then im out of my mind. the moment they go polkelt you know exactly card by card whats coming, and have to adjust your gameplan accordingly. the nice part is that you also know exactly what the damage threshold will be. if you play paladin or warrior then you also know that after turn 4 that will be their main focus to win the game

Sweet.

After turn 4 or so, make sure you have more than 30 health at all times, because your board is irrelevant.

You’re right, I did know exactly what was coming.

That’s worse. You do realize that’s worse, right?

  1. You’re keeping loot hoarder : bad mulligan
  2. Coining Adal’s hand on your loot hoarder when you know your opponent has second slice in hand
  3. Playing first day of school at the hand of a turn when you can draw a juggler the turn after
  4. Not playing libram of justice for easy board clean with a weapon when your opponent has an easy clean on your taunt
  5. Playing argent braggart when you know you opponent will have his big turn next.

Dude, you’re close to 1 missplay each turn.
Before you complain about the opponent’s deck, start being a decent player.

the gameplan is very simple: if you cant pressure them enough before the altrus turn, then just do the math and make sure you hp is just above and dont commit resources you dont need to. then you just counter swing to clear their board (altruis is priority) and taunt up (heal if possible) since you also know exactly what cards they are drawing next so you knwo if they have any direct damage and can exactly plan your turns way ahead.

i have won plenty of games through those turns with warrior while sitting comfortably at 1 hp only to never take damage again for the rest of the game
