Returning to Hearthstone after a few years and it’s unrecognizable as a game. It’s nearly impossible as a new player to have any understanding of what is going on in the game.
My hand ends up with like 15 cards, every turn seems to clear the board.
Anyone good luck with the game, I am going back to MTG.
Which is the case every 2 years since all standard expansions would have rotated out… 2019 Hearthstone has nothing in common with 2017 or 2021
mtg is much better and requires crazy and super professional development because it is not manipulated by fake rng and matchmaking that favors those who pay, here you will only find a blizcrosoft interested in your money
I grew up on MTG, and I can’t really see your point. I started playing on Revised (that’s relatively soon after Unlimited) and got disenchanted with it early on. They market themselves as a strategy game, it’s a pay-to-win game.
If you’re Bill Gates’ kid, you’ll have a Black Lotus and a full set of Moxes, and all the blue ultra-cheeses such as Time Twister, so you’ll essentially be going to the hobby store to play with a deck that’s worth more than most people’s houses. Powerful early-game cards such as Mishra’s Workshop will also run you thousands of dollars. More modest cards such as Dual-lands such as Taiga and Tundra still cost quite a bit.
Comparing Hearthstone whaling to MTG whaling is just silly beyond belief.
Hearthstone has become more keyword heavy now. Learning what each of them fo would be a good start.
Just play arena? I do think magic is objectively a better card game in almost every way, BUT mana draw is an annoying contrivance in that game
I think everything has been handed over to AI and this is what you get.
Such claims are the main reason why I think that moving to MTG is a bad idea regardless of the fact that I don’t like what is happening with HS now.
If MTG is friendly for people who can’t understand the current HS meta (almost no really difficult decks, almost no combo decks)… what a perfect anti-advertising.
