Now, quests show a scroll with a number beside it. What the heck do you win now? Clearly not 800 gold. Not exactly feeling motivated. Blizzard has the worst UX.
You get experience for rewards. Then when you level up, you can claim the reward in the reward track screen by clicking on it, I think. I haven’t tried it out yet, but I think the old quest screen is now a bunch of things including the new rewards/exp system.
That number is xp the new system is “Win quests to unlock rewards and this track changes every expansion!”
I used to enjoy playing goofy sounding quests.
It appears they have ditched my goofy sounding quests, for more enforced playing their way. And it will be harder to get gold if you ask me. Which translates into a clever way to force us the pay cash, for this ‘free to play game’.
If I see that my daily gold dries up, I’m gone for sure.
I don’t pay to play, and I get gold from those goofy quests, and it gets my cards.
I’m sitting on 30+ packs of new cards in gold. But it doesn’t arrive overnight. I like getting 50-60 reliable uncomplicated gold a day. If my gold in December is less than 50 gold every day, I won’t have reason to be here.
Yep. Same
It Blizz has in any way reduced the frequency or rate of getting free packs via questing, then I am 100% out of this game
I’m getting 15 packs come Tuesday so I’m not complaining
Some guy on Reddit did the math in order to know how many free packs will you get with this new system.
Apparently you will earn a bit more each expansion but not on opening day, something like … if you open around 50 packs in openind day you will probably earn 60 but through the 3 month period.
