What are the free cards for the anniversary?

I only see cards that cost gems - 4000/5000 per gem or exp.

This is a bait and switch tactic that should be fixed right now.

You’ve most certainly already received the plain copies of the cards given for the anniversary.
You can view them in your collection by filtering the expansion “Event”.
1 rare card “[Hero]'s Gift” for each class and 1 neutral legendary Harth Stonebrew

What you are refering to seems to be the golden versions of the rare cards given in the event. These are the same cards, but golden.
You can’t buy them, you’ll get them by earning event xp by playing the game and doing the daily event quests. Doing both quests each day should reward at least 500 xp. One of the daily quests is set for every player and usually rewards more and more throughout the event.

It doesn’t indicate this anywhere why is it that we have to do something figure out we got these cards rather than they just show up as a package or reward?

It not only makes it seem like something fishy is going on but it makes it harder for the player to find the cards of the events if they are just quietly slipped into their decks.

You should make it a package so we can see it happening like every other gift set or event.

You’ve been prompted when opening the game that you received free cards, you may have not noticed if you closed the prompt too fast. It’s very unlikely that you didn’t receive the prompt.

Unless something is buggy, which is very likely, given the track record with the game, the interface for it, and the people who code for it.

You got the non goldens as the 10th anniversary event gift upon logging in and seeing the event popup for its first time. These normal, non goldens, are for all. The Golden copies are for completing the event track. The reason to complete the track on purpose is to obtain golden copies to use for an all golden cards deck is my understanding. Otherwise it would be for the coin at the end of the track. Unsure if we got a plain copy of the coin along with the others.
