I love it how this is not a pay to win game, but they do make the amount of things you can do with your gold very limited. You used to be able to buy the battleground perk, heroes which they recently deleted apparently. It seems kinda lame tbh.

Hoe do you guys feel about this? Should they allow us to do more with our ingame gold?

Tavern pass is the only thing I could wish they’d allow to buy with gold, as I would spent the remaining on packs and minisets anyway.
Maybe if there was an affordable pet but this will never happen.
In the end focusing my gold on packs is still a good thing as it allows me to get just what I want each expansion.
First month of an expansion I spend everything on packs, after the first month I keep getting packs until I get one last legendary then I bank gold, get the miniset, and keep banking gold until next expansion

It’s better to spend loads of gold at the start of an expansion as you will most likely benefit from a lot of nerfs for full refunds, whereas spending all along you ar emost likely to open the nerfed cards after the refund period

I think you were only able to buy battleground perks with gold one or two times (maybe as a promotion for the new mode?). Don´t get me wrong, I would love to be able to do that again.

I wish more hero skins could be purchased for gold.

Best thing you can do is save up your gold to buy a gold mini set. Then dust the gold cards you don’t see yourself playing. You can accumulate like 6400+ dust that way. And if any those cards are targeted to be nerfed than you make an insane amount.

I made like 8000 dust from a single gold mini set one time because multiple cards were targeted for a nerf. Two of those being gold legendary cards from the mini set.

ATM I am sitting and 4300 gold and just saving for the next expansion. But indeed, except from costetics (which are nice but collection wise meaningless for getting better at playing) yo can do arenas BUT only if yo like arenas and have good results, otherwise you will end up getting 1 pack for price of 1,5 :slight_smile: If you can do stable 3-4+ wins it’s ok.
