Welcome to the new forums!

lol, I was more talking about my argument points, vocab choice and such. I sometimes notice some people making the same point, same argument pattern and all that. Not from regulars, but mostly from trolls (not that I was a troll in the old forum).

Aaaaaaaaaaaand no new avatars confirmed -.-

Removing downvotes was a mistake.

I am also kinda sad that the downvotes are gone. They where a horrible idea to begin with but the forum did adept to the point where getting a lot of downvotes actually was a kind of achievement which would make sure your post would get read and your thread would get responses lol. I don’t think anyone did care about them anymore.

green posters are also gone it seems,i noticed mand does not have his anymore. Or does it still exist but just shows up differently now?>

De layout of the forum is not user friendly,at least not for me. The old forum was much more clean.

The MVP status still exists,* but it might have reset with the migration to the new forums.

There ya are! Back from yer adventures???

Welcome to the new forums, friend…

Huh, they changed just about everything else about the forums, but kept the background colour. Odd choice.

Is anyone else missing Jesse right now?

Hehe, pile on!

Welcome and welcome back to everyone who has paid or will be paying a visit here! Let us hope these forums are begun with positivity and helpfulness.

So they finally ported over this inferior version of the forums here. Now we can all look forward to:

grinding “trust” levels just so we can post upvotes. Currently limited based on “trust” level.

limits on posting links

easier to abuse the report system (with the same “review” process)

infinite scrolling with no pages that take up more resources on our end

…and with all the CMs and other staff they just fired in the layoffs they just did, expect the rollout of this to not go as smoothly as the others.

In short, more actiblizz “fixing” what isn’t broken. But it is a much easier way for them to control the feedback that’s posted here.

Yup. Same for me. On Chrome at least.

I really like the new forum and much prefer the endless scrolling as opposed to waiting for new pages to load.

No more downvotes and a 20 character requirement will, hopefully, reduce spam.

I’m loving this.

havent any of the stuff you are talking about. …what do you mean by trust lv and upvotes?

See this thread in Community Discussion forum about Trust Levels: New Forum Guide - Syntax and Features

Upvotes is the heart at the bottom of each post.

When a fool receives a bad evaluation what he does? will it improve? NO delete downvote

This talks about it in more detail:

Long and short of it: it’s information control under the guise of “quality improvements.”

The system is much easier to abuse.
