I’m apologizing in advance for the poor formatting… i’m no tech expert. So, i encountered the weirdest bug today playing ranked standard hs, when right in the middle of my first turn, the card i played kind of phased into the background, having no effect whatsoever. Then, the game stopped doing anything, not even the rope came up, but my opponent was still emoting, so the game wasn’t frozen, it was just… in stand-by. I have no idea how to post screenshots, but i do have one…

The game client has several different connections. One to the hearthstone server for gameplay events, one to your opponent for emotes and mouseovers, one to battle.net for chat and friend notifications, etc.
There is a longstanding bug where the game can lose the first connection but keep the others, resulting in the behavior you saw.
