Was hoping for help understanding Blood Leech Death Knight

I am a Paladin player trying to branch out into different classes and decks, primarily because the fanbase is facepalming at too many people using Quest Murloc. You guys were very kind and helped me figure out Protoss Priest. I had a ton of fun with that deck – thank you!

I am making a thread for this because I think the answers to the question are too extensive for a post in the megathread. I was hoping, if you guys have the time and the inclination, if you would explain Blood Leech Death Knight deck to me. I am eyeing this variant, from a high-rank Legend player.

Not much to understand. You just make a ton of leeches while saving a combo set for the turn you drop Ceaseless. In between you spam board control cards to leech away the opponents board and health total while you ramp up your own. At the end you drop whatever flavor your win condition was. Its very reactive unlike most paladin decks which just spew cards in a set order every turn.

You only leech when the board is clear, to reduce enemy player health. Its a waste to use leechs in minions.
