Warp Gate intentionally stealth nerfed?

So, I dusted off my Protoss Mage for a bit of random fun. Did Blizzard do something to how Warp Gate works? The mana reduction seems to be getting reset by the opponent doing just about anything. Makes the card pretty useless if you don’t consume the effect immediately. Mallenroh would probably say it’s just another slap to the face of mage lol. I don’t know if I just missed a nerf message somewhere.

This is a known issue.

[Hearthstone] The cost reduction from Warp Gate can be consumed by the opponent (a fix for this is currently planned for 34.6.3).

This will be fixed today with a hotfix actually.

I was facing Kripparrian on standard ladder with my Protoss Priest and lost to him in pretty solid fashion because my Waygate was bugged. Pretty Sadge.
