Varian Task 5: No credit no matter what I do

I am currently on Task 5 for Varian which reads: “Complete a bounty while at level 30.” I got this quest/mission/whatever when my Varian hit 30 and then got the mysterious stranger (I believe) so my Varian has never not been level 30 while I have had this quest/mission/whatever.
I have tried the following without success:

  • Completed a level 30 bounty with a level 30 Varian and a party of mostly level 30s (Winterspring’s first bounty)
  • Completed a level 30 bounty with a full party of level 30s including Varian and making sure he lived until the end (Winterspring’s first bounty)
  • Completed the first Felwood bounty with a full party of level 30s including Varian with no one dying
  • Completed the first Barrens bounty with a full party of level 30s including Varian while making sure that Varian was in each and every encounter and lived through the entire bounty
  • Created a new party with only Varian and proceeded to solo the first Barrens bounty with him
  • Completed the first Barrens bounty on Heroic difficulty with a full party of level 30s including Varian and making sure that Varian was in each and every encounter and lived through the entire bounty
  • Completed the second Barrens bounty on Heroic difficulty (which I hadn’t done before) with a full party of level 30s including Varian and making sure that Varian was in each and every encounter and lived through the entire bounty
  • Completed a new Winterspring bounty with a full party of 30s including Varian where Varian didn’t survive

I think this problem isn’t only for Varian’s task. “Task 5: I’m Better than Them!” From Millhouse has the same problem. I thought I wasn’t getting the meaning of what should be done and didn’t get to complete this task too.

You can add to your list what I tried too:

  • Complete a task from Valeera while the character is lvl 30

  • Complete another task from a different mercenary while both are lvl 30

extra confirm for millhouse lol…tryed lvl 30 area(wintergrasp)…start up area(barren first boss track)…and felwood(lvl 20 area) none of them gave me credit despite milhouse being at 30

Same with Gul’dan. Still 0/1, after several runs.

Same problem here with Millhouse task 5.
Edit: Looks like its fixed now. just completed my task 5.

I have the same problem with Illidan, always with the 5 quest asking to collect a bounty at level 30.
