- No card can ever cost less than 1 mana if it’s starting cost was at least 1 mana
- Cap how many cards you can play on a turn based off the turn timer eg
Turn 1/2: 2 cards
Turn 3: 3 cards
Turn 4: 4 cards
Etc with a cap at 10 cards starting at turn 10 (not 10 mana but turn 10)
not the first time someone suggests to “remove the fun out of this game” and “nerf cards that dont need to be nerfed!!!”
I don’t think anyone should be able to play 10-12 cards on turn 4. That’s not fun for the opponent, that’s just fun for the guy playing solitaire.
It’s also a way for them to burn through their deck fast. Those kid of decks burn out quick, you survive that and they’re screwed
I disagree with restricting the amount of cards per turn.
Not being able do reduce cost below 1 is obviously a good idea. You are not the first who suggests it and it baffles me that Blizzard didn’t make it a rule yet. Especially because they implemented the change with Radiant Elemental already.
they didnt because is a terrible idea to nerf so many cards for no reason at all
even peopel suggesting it coudlnt justify the nerf for half the cards the change would hit
I think it’s fine to have exceptions for certain classes and cards(as long as they don’t let them creep out of control), but a mana reduction cap of 1 is a good default
Hmm, that reminds me…

MTG sure has had a lot of ways to limit cards played per turn. They’re played in the form of removable permenants too, so it’s actually interactive.
Sure would be nice to have that here.
