I know its WILD but its out of control. So many instant loss play 20 cards on turn 5 bs. Or dh or priest pirate decks with full boards on turn 2 and 3… The fun of strategic trading and longer game play has gone out the window in WILD imo. Standard is too boring.
Do I need to go to arena for fun?
I feel like Arena would kill any fun you could possibly have that’s left. Standard and wild are BS but at least it’s consistent BS you can learn to play Mill/Solitare warlock to counter and potentially control. Arena you are forced to pick stuff out of a hat then forced to complain when you’re given garbage 90% of the time but your enemies seem to get their exact deck they used in standard without fail EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I’ve seen the light now. Delete Arena and give us duels back, at least in Duels you could have pretended you were trying to counter Bomb Rattlegore with how you built yourself.
You can’t even pretend you have a choice over how onesided matches are gonna be in Arena.
I mean do cats walk on four. Do dogs. You’re describing the inevitable.
Only on the bleeding edge. Right now that legendary and a few ranks below, anything below that wild tends to have a lot of decks that mainly play for the joy of playing their own unique deck.
wild has many 1 shot decks and super aggro to pull of a win before they can 1 shot. I dont see how blizzard could remove them all.
Your only allowed cards from 1 expansion? or 1 year of expansions, ie say 1/1/20. So as soon as you pick a card playable in standard on that date, all cards must be playable in standard at that date.
anything else is just favouritism. ie they remove the most common 100 1 shot decks would just turn it into aggro vs aggro and still leave the next 1000 rarely played 1 shot decks.
The best is when I die on turn 6 and my opponent has 40 health and 20 armor. That 40 health really seems necessary…
The problem is there isn’t a true casual mode or custom mode for players who want to actually make their own decks and have some fun with weird stuff, most players grab one of the top optimized flavor decks of the month from the online list or whatever and that’s all we get. Implement a true casual mode or custom mode with a queue and suddenly people could have fun again or at least stop being a sheep
I don’t get what you mean. There’s is literally a casual mode.
There is a casual mode where no one plays casually or casual decks, so is it really a casual mode? I’m asking for a true casual mode. One where people can just play and not expect to run into only current xyz meta decks of the month. A true casual mode where people are encouraged and able to build their own decks and test them out, and not expect to lose by turn 3 because they’re playing something fun and the other person is playing their current xyz meta deck of the month. I imagine like you say though, it couldn’t be called casual mode as we already have that technically. That’s why I say to call it either true casual mode, or probably more like custom mode. Where players can, say, choose the year(s) or expansion(s) they want to include, and/or the rarity of cards allowed, classes allowed, etc. Literally what every good multiplayer game alreadt has, but now for Hearthstone.
What do you want exactly to happen? To ban people from using netdecks? Because that’s not happening because you can’t control that behavior without making the system obnoxious.
Scrap that: you can’t control that period, how is a netdeck even defined when they may claim they homebrewed it independently and theoretically it can happen.
I already said what I want to happen. Why are you so confused?
The question “what do you want to happen” meant “WHAT’S THE SOLUTION/IMPLEMENTATION” you have to mind for what you initially had in mind.
Do you want to ban all the netdecks? Because that’s technically impossible.
I have no idea why you are talking about netdecks in reply to my asking for a true casual mode or custom mode. I think that’s where the disconnect is. Idk why I would want something that is technically impossible as you say, that would be stupid and I’m anything but.
There’s no disconnect. I wonder how you would achieve “true” casual unless you want to ban netdecks.
How exactly would you keep it “true casual” then?
There clearly is
I already explained it. Scroll up.
That’s what I am reading from the start. How are you “encouraging to not play meta decks” if you don’t ban them?
What’s the motivation to not netdeck in “true casual”?
What’s the motivation to not netdeck in “true casual”?
There would be no reason to
I did come up with another name for it though, besides true casual or custom, I think maybe it could be called creative mode.
See, that’s why I didn’t speak up until Mage net decks were the cause of public outcry. I know it’s unfeasible to ask all mages to stop. But if its just one particular deck that people needed to be informed about power to the people style…
Small changes can be made.
I look at the HS Replay site like one big ol tower of Jenga. Take a peg that doesn’t matter and move it upwards nothing happens. But the wrong peg at the wrong time and it all comes crashing down.
Now that Dorian is gone, miracle priest is gone, and aggro decks are essentially dead with the distributor nerf, wild is the most tame it’s been in years.
The meta has had 6+ renos decks in tier 2/3 for months. The decks I have to assume you’re talking about are egg hunter, spell damage druid and LS demon hunter. 2 of these decks which are widely counterable.
Honestly, it feels like you’re complaining about losing to everything, are you trying to pull off a markmark combo or something
I play payday 2 sir. They tell me dress for loud I dress for loud, they tell me dress for quiet? I melee entire level while still keeping a flame thrower on me for when it goes loud.
And yeah thats admittedly the point. I fell off the ladder, happily played dead decks. And then the sky fell on me, I had to climb just to see what it was that was making people fall like I did, and I’ma see if I can keep climbing just so I can start putting out wild west style bounty boards leading to the arrest of the legend rank currently in seat 2 collum B.
Its a joke, but if I’m hoping to get up to legend by literally being the BEST joke I can be, why not let me make bounties of silly amounts for decks I consider “silly”
the most tame
If being milled to death by round 5 is tame, or having a ramp druid that OTKs, I guess not tame in that place is OTK on turn 1.
