I’m not a fan of the whole time traveling theme, especially when we get different timeline versions of characters.
It reminds me of Warlords of Draenor, which is the second worst expansion in World of Warcraft….

There’s even been a year where each class got a different version of a dedicated character each expansion

If we want to be pedantic it’s not time travelling, it’s alternate universe, a Warcraft “What if”
The villains are described as from a different timeline. That sounds like time travel.

Idk The lore of Warcraft deep enough but basically the expansion theme is that, in the actual Lore, Deathwing has been defeated at some point, but we are exploring a universe where he actually won and consummed the world tree to gain its power.
It’s not time travel, it’s a parallel universe.
So we have the alternative timeline heroes from the Timeways expansion to fight the alternative timeline villains from Cataclysm?
