This would fix hearthstone overnight…
Allow every player the option to ban one single class from their matchups. This would allow people the option to outcast the worst current deck in every meta and further deter people that exploit that deck for higher ranks by leaving them in matchmaking limbo waiting for a game. For example in the most recent context: Imagine if everyone could ban reborn priest from the matchups right now? Instead of waiting for blizzard to take 500 days to correct the problem, a natural collaboration of people can impact the viability of the current most broken deck at any given time.
Those Devs can’t even balance actual Standard and you think that would make it simpler? That would make their job even more complicated because now they would have to care on top of ALL the combinations of banning (which is every single class multiplied by every other class).
If you want balance: ask them first to balance it without that complication on top.
If by fix you mean add the last straw that actually succeeds in killing the game for good so they can start over with Hearthstone 2.

What if I’m playing (for example) warrior but not pirate because I’m free to play and that’s the class I’ve focused on and the only cards I have? Now my queues are 5 minutes because you’re upset there are good decks?
Nah.
People really don’t see the problem with blacklisting a class
Say everyone blacklists warrior, Warrior players see increased wait times and switch to the next “OP” class, now players blacklist that class instead making people either switch back to Warrior or the next op class.
It doesn’t fix anything

Priest 0% playrate overnight lol
I believe the only rational solution would be to force governments around the world, especially Europe, to make a decision on legislation that will prevent Hearthstone from being controlled by external companies. The law is already under consideration if you search online. Such a law would equate Hearthstone to a gambling platform—not fully, but in many respects—by forcing Blizzard to admit external controls, declare the probabilities for each random event, and comply with them, under penalty of severe penalties. Blizzard is terribly afraid of this step because it could cause enormous problems. If anyone were to discover manipulation within Hearthstone (for example, if you never pay, your matchmaking experience deteriorates), it would be tragic. Blizzard’s image would be destroyed, perhaps the end as we know it.
That alone can’t fix this dumpster fire. Regardless of what class, every game is 100% determined by highroll and skill is completely irrelevant (win or lose).
