I was using a freeze mage deck and the majority of my opponents were bomb warriors with almost zero minions to freeze.
So I crafted the “steal your opponent’s weapon” card and tech 2 oozes in my deck. Played all day around 30 games.
NOT A SINGLE MATCH WAS AGAINST BOMB WARRIOR. What a huge waste of time and money. I am not angry. I am FURIOUS!

Sometimes playing 2-3 times against a deck that counters you, feels like you always play against them
And I think main purpose of Blizzard is to sell as much “steal your opponent’s weapon” as they can
I’ve posted about this a few times already, like many others. When the game wants you to lose to keep the 50% WR, it will take 20 minutes to find an opponent if needed to in order to ensure you lose or topdeck/discover every needed answer for what you have.

So you watch the wheel thing go for 20 minutes sometimes? 20 whole minutes?

I have finally, FINALLY, after 60+ game and after I crafted the “steal your opponent’s weapon” card, matched against a Bomb Warrior and I have also successfully stolen his “add a bomb to your deck” weapon.
Satisfied? Absolutely NOT! Not after countless amount of dust and effort. Totally not worth it. I am still very angry. There has got to be something crooked about this game. I have no way of proving it and I can only choose to live with it or walk away. Shame.

No, I’m just saying that sometimes when you change decks or cards you will be faced with a 5-10 min counter to find an opponent for some reason. It never goes all the way to the end of the counter but sometimes I do wait for the thing to go for a few minutes and it eventually finds a perfect match for whatever I’m playing with.

Like I said before, when you add certain key cards to your deck, you will find that all of a sudden the classes you are teched against will disappear. Create a priest deck with restore 30 health worth of cards and a ooze and you will never see a warrior again. - not a bomb warrior at least.

I posted about this a few weeks back before the new expac. It seemed more apparent than ever that matchmaking was interfering, I was playing on a warrior, had nothing but mages and hunters, tech-ed a secret eater, they disappeared. When you start teching cards against certain classes you are ultimately gimp your hand so have fewer cards to play with. I have also found that not only does matchmaking keep you at 56% ish it also stops you from levelling quickly, I can always get to level 6 or level 1 but when it comes to getting over the line it takes days!!

Stop playing this game if you actually believe it is rigged to make you lose or whatever stupid conspiracy theory you have.
Why in earth would you continue to played a game which is rigged against you?
No idea why he does it, but I do it to win money. As Reno would put it: maaaaagic.
You can say it’s rigged but I was stuck at rank 2 diamond for a while. If the paladin decks at the beginning of this meta weren’t so ramapant and easy to counter I would never have made it. Because every time I got there as what ever class I’m playing it would just give me my counters. And I will lose 3 games in a row before hitting rank 1 over and over, and I mean 4-5 turns people are beating me and I’m only using Aggro decks… it does seem rigged. Only thing that worked was getting there, switching decks to a paladin counter deck then I made it Into legendary. But every paladin deck I faced was the 70% win rate one…
sure seemed rigged while doing it, none of the games got hard until that point either, I was just wiping the floor with everyone . A lot of these counters were also just “your opponent”. Call it what you want but climbing the ladder like in all blizzard games, is a fixed game to try and keep you at 50% rather than match random matches between two equal opponents. For example my frost mage in wild had an 100% win rate for a while. Then I got countered by a priest, every single game after that took a little longer to find and it’s was a priest, now I’m just floating around the same ranking, feels pointless getting random people for th le first couple stars and then losing three all with priest after priest. If it was random it would feel random.

This is something that all with eyes see eventually. It takes time to realize it. It takes understanding about counters. By the time a player realizes that it has been happening all along they have already committed a lot of time and possibly money.
Currently I see this with weapons too. When a deck is made to rely on [Harrison Jones] for draw I almost never see the neutral weapon, and seldom match against a deck that uses any weapon. When matched against a weapon class the weapon is either not in that deck or not drawn. It is very peculiar, but I have learned to expect it.

install a deck tracker. Record say 100 games in a row with a single class and single deck
Change your tech cards every 25 games.
Link you results here for at least some very basic proof of concept of your rigging idea.
Today I had a 10 win streak, then I met an archetype I am heavily disfavoured against.
I think the game is rigged so that I can’t have unlimited wins.
Isn’t that what life is all about, playing on impossible/deathmarch? You will die anyway. Keep fighting.
now that you mentioned it…

OP, that’s a classic HS experience.
I play a lot of wild, somehow i managed to run into a jade druid and toggleshuffle rogue a bunch of times in a row.
I make a deck to tech against it and suddenly i don’t face any of those opponents for 10 games. I switch back, lo and behold, jade druids and toggles again.
Same with secret mages. Every time i use a deck to tech against it, i never face them, and even if i do once in a blue moon, my techs are at the bottom of the deck.
It’s an RNG fiesta. Always has been.

Yes. It is absolutely true that I can simply quit and move on. However, and this is a HUGE HOWEVER, after I’ve invested countless amount of dust, money, time and energy on this game, after I’ve played and watched countless matches to better myself, I forced myself to believe that if I’ve practiced enough, played more and have enough BIG WIN cards, I would be able to beat this game (getting to legendary in my case).
BUT NO! Wait a second… after years of playing I’ve finally realised that all of the above would never get me to where I want to be. I’ve finally realised that playing this game is very much like playing roulette in casino. Their machines are fixed!
So what can I do? Time, money and energy are wasted. I’ve no way of proving that the game is rigged. I can’t sue them. I can’t get revenge. I can’t do anything except take it like a loser and move on.
At least I can come to their forum and bad mouth them a little. I think if they saw this they would be like ROFL what a sucker HAHA. What else can I do?

Do like everyone else that is fed up with the rigged clown fiesta and roll the most anti fun priest deck available. Any match you can make last longer than 10 minutes is already a victory against all the stupid hand vomiting around.
Let me illustrate a very recent encounter. I was using the same deck with “steal weapon” card and 2 oozes and I was lucky enough to match against a Demon Hunter and I was also super lucky to have both “steal weapon” and ooze in my hand.
The opponent held on to 2 cards from the beginning to turn 15ish right before he had lethal and then played the left most card which was obviously the 4/2 weapon.
How? How on earth did my opponent know? Was that a bliz bot I was playing against? Once again, I have NO way of proving any of these.
oh P.S. after I tech these “steal and destroy weapon” cards in my deck, I’ve played over 100 games with the same deck so far (yes… I know I am lame… 30ish games per day), I honestly believed I have only encounted no more than 5 warriors.
