"The selected deck is not valid for this game mode" BUG

Not sure others are getting the same bug error that I am getting.

I’ve made a deck using Prince Renathal (40 card deck). When I try to test this deck in practice mode “expert”, I receive the error when I add 2 Crimson Clergy to my deck. If I remove the 2 clergy cards the deck will work in practice mode.

The deck is allowed to be played in standard versus players ranked and versus friends using the crimson clergy. I only see the error when i try to use the deck in practice mode. After the error is thrown, half of the screen opponents are purple images when you select the opponent…

The deck that was created was made using blizzard’s “fill in the rest of the cards for me” to make a standard deck. All cards were double checked and were marked standard. The error only occurs when the Crimson Clergy is added to my deck

Practice games use the “wild” deckbuilding rules. This used to be a smart choice, because all standard decks were valid in wild. However, that changed in June 2021, when, for balance reasons, a single card (Stealer of Souls) was banned in wild. That made some decks that were valid in standard invalid in wild, and hence invalid in wild.

Since then, the list of banned cards in wild has changed, but there always have been a few cards that are not allowed. At this time, these are Crimson Clergy, Switcheroo, and Tome Tampering.
