You think these people won’t get fired if DK flops. There’s way too much money spent on DK that it’s too career risky to wait a rotation to catch up on power level.
It has to be pretty obvious that releasing before rather than during a rotation is like opening the Flamingo in a rainstorm, but they did it anyway. Whoever pushed that, whether it was Ben Lee, Dean Ayala, or someone else; was a total idiot for deciding it.
And we’re going to be paying for it with worse gameplay for a very long time.

DK was at like 5/10. It was fine. It wasn’t a flop, people were playing it. They had to nerf Frost DK.
They literally just did not have to buff it anymore.
DK was the best class in Duels and Arena on release.
It jumped ahead of most classes in Wild. That it was that good in Wild was a huge warning about how OP it was, given it sufficient synergy.
A new class should be garbage in Wild, or it’s going to be a huge problem for Standard.
And we haven’t seen the worst yet, when all the other classes have to compete without the Hero cards, and whatever other cards from 2021 they’re still using.
Rotation is going to be just like 2020.
Agreed. The nerfs to other classes were enough of a buff to DK.
I have a sinking feeling blood DK is going to be an absolute nightmare of greed come April.

The fact they believe power creep is a necessity for any expansion’s success is one of the biggest reasons HS is becoming more of a chore than a game that’s fun to play.

It also reflects poorly on the ability of the developers, honestly. If they are collectively out of ideas, that’s a serious problem for our entertainment, and for their business.

I get this impression Cestea might be very young. And not well developed in their sense of logical thinking. Which is fine, I don’t expect people to be born with old Carl Sagan’s brains, we’re all working to be smarter (currently learning Japanese myself).

I think Mall is a big hairy ex truck driver dude who just happens to be a flamer. I don’t mean that insulting (not sure if flamer is insulting?) but you know a big raging homer type of guy.
I only simply want to tell you: continue to engage them, socially and kindly. Try to talk with “kids gloves” on if you’d like to avoid conflict, and players ignoring the rest of the topic. For two reasons – (there are likely more I’m forgetting.) People are in desperate need of improvement. 2.) Many of these players believe that they are as good as they can ever be – remember, the sky’s the limit (a lil’ hyperbole, but you get the idea). These players can certainly improve, albeit, some take such advice as an attack, unfortunately.
