I haven’t lost a game since the patch because the quest crutch is gone and you don’t get highrolled out by overpowered quest synergies.
The game is light years better and choices matter so much more without quest bull ruining the game.
No, we are back to a bg meta where understanding optimum curve and tribe for your hero matters.
Did you play much before quests?
I don’t see this at all. I see the exact opposite post quests. It’s lovely to be able to build a tribe and play the actual game mode.
Scaling is fine!
The meta is, in fact, a couple turns slower and that’s fantastic for decision making and knowledge.
