The slot for Story is now empty. I have waited several days for it to come back, but no luck. I have 4 slots used for mercenaries tasks, plus one for the daily two bounties.
It sounds like you’ve finished the current Storyline.
Note that finishing the Story or Daily quest does not free up spots for Merc Tasks. You can only ever have 1 Story Task, 1 Daily Quest Task and up to 4 Merc Tasks.

I never have a Story anymore. There is not even a title on the open slot for it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
