There was a reason to put Battlegrounds into Hearthstone: the big audience who could potentially like the new format, graphic assets, and some game mechanics.
Time flows, and these two formats are still separate. Audiences are also separate. Streamers are separate. Everything is separate. But announcements and forums are mixed, so this adds some mess.
It’s all apart of Hearthstone, just different modes. They are pretty much already separate.
Why do we have to see recommendations on Youtube/Twitch for both formats? Why do we have to split our attention in forums? Why do we have to go through additional menus in the game client? Why do we have to download extra content on updates?
I’m 100% sure that teams who develop these modes are also split
It’s not that big of a deal. lol… Usually people know what the thread is going to be about when they read the title, and can skim through what they was to pay attention to.
Streamers usually will put in their description what they are doing, wether it’s BG’s, Arena, Ladder.
