Spell Mage is noninteractive nonsense

W . O . W

I don’t think I’ve ever played a deck as noninteractive as this one. The board literally doesn’t exist. You just burn the opponent. This is the deck they are trying to make good? I wouldn’t be surprised if this got nerfed while Tier 3.

Go ahead. Watch how much agency my DK opponent had this game:

Tier wont matter. if players complain team 5 will be only too happy to nerf the deck.

I don’t really see anything remarkable in this replay other than you could have won a turn earlier if you hadn’t missed some damage in the early game lol (jk). It’s a plague DK and you got a pretty good hand. They couldn’t have done anything other than die. They die like 60% of the time, literally.

If you even play a couple of minions to the board Mage folds easily. Mage is very bad right now. The cards in the mini don’t look to change that too much either.

All I know is that this deck has nothing on Rainbow.
Most boring deck I’ve tried.

I think the most remarkable point is that not even long time mage players like that deck.

Who like it is generally low rank players who are addicted to using decks that are easy to play in detriment of learn curve and Power.

Tbf that can change with the new 2 mana spell. It’s a fantastic control card for 2 mana and mage will have no problem playing it over and over. What truly hinders this deck is the fact yogg box is an awful payoff. To the point I would even consider cutting it entirely and relying exclusively on Lightshow and Sun volley

I wouldn’t be surprised if the 2-mana spell makes this deck actually good.
This low curve variant only lacks that early removal. If it has it; it can be an actually good deck. Still uninspiring. But 6 - 1 with it.

Yogg in the box is so bad that you could replace with 2 fireballs and the deck gets better.

Atleast the fireballs turn into cheap burn If you highroll with manifacturing error.

Obviously Yogg in the box isn’t an include.
The future of this deck is this low curve burn deck. You just go in; at the mid game with the discounted burn. I’ll share some links if people want to check how the deck looks.

All versus warrior since for some reason the game decided to match me three in a row.

Mage straight-up trash at the moment all is a bunch of roll-the-dice and hope-you-win cards. It hurt playing this deck because not what a mage should be like and being a mage player from the start of Hearthstone.

The real payoff for playing that deck is Manufacturing Error, not Yogg. Getting 2 copies of the release version of Skull of Gul’dan is great. Malfunction (the new 2 mana spell) may help it out in the early game even more.

Yeah good take. I just mean if yogg box is supposed to be a strong late game payoff, it’s a terrible one. Not worth including. I agree Manufacturing error is an awesome card.

Good job! You learned!

So, does the deck revolve around whether or not Yogg wins the game or loses for you?
Because that sounds really terrible to play against, or even play.

It revolves around CUT yogg and put every burn spell you can imagine(even Fireball) and pray to manufacturing error to draw they so you can Just explode your opponent.

You better don’t.

If I hear you complain after playing that one, you’re gonna turn me against you xD

That’s literally the tempo deck you’ve asked for xD

It’s weak at the moment, but it’s that playstyle you’re searching for
