in standard wondering what counters exist for this outside of shaman who has 2 spells (one deals with the other only short of half deals with) and warlock with a single legendary minion ?
Wild Pyro + Mass Dispel is particularly satisfying.

If your definition of counter is an undo button, then basically just priest and shaman.
Fortunately, there are other definitions.

Wild Pyromancer + multiple spells is your best Neutral answer. Warrior has Warpath, Priest has Plague of Death, etc. Besides those your best bet is literally just “build a board, minimize damage, and use regular wipes when necessary”. Not every counter has to be an automatic two-for-one.

Just keep the amount of minions low so it can’t take advantage of this spell(giving priority to killing the minions that don’t generate more minions); cards like rabble bouncer, MCtech, sea giants, dragonmaw scorcher, mossy horror or any minion with rush can help you to fight for the board while you develop your own board. If token druid lose the control of the board, so you will win
Depends? Soul of the Forest is something of a “win more” card - if they played it, then they already had a board. If you couldn’t deal with the previous board with just the cards you had in hand, you probably won’t be able to deal with the next.
Anyways, you’re looking with something multi-hit, which few classes have ever had access to, but do exist (and have already been named up above). Barring that, if they had enough minions on board to make Soul worthwhile, then they’re probably also going to be vulnerable to Mind Control Tech.
i have allow a board to be of moderate size before to bait them playing soul of the forest before i do a warpath. The emote from the druid is usually priceless.
