Am I missing something? I silenced him but he kept lifesteal and taunt. All the silence did was get rid of his deathrattle.
The other factors are considered “Aura” effects, Which kinda acts as a lingering rule change that doesn’t go away with silence.

Dude i swear, everytime i read this crap with imaginary Auras and hidden effects i think to myself how incompetent these people are.
The same bug is on Muradin as well.
Why is it so hard to invent another mechanic and differentiate it from existing ones so that people know whats going on?

Boons are not one-time enchantments, they explicitely read that the enchantment is permanent
Why did you expect to be able to silence a permanent effect ?
I initially read permanent as he always comes back with those. I too expected him to be able to be silenced but if brought back he would be brought back as the unsilenced version.
It’s not that big of a reach and to my knowledge no other minion is unable to be silenced so understand why there would be initial confusion.

Permanent is basically the short version of “for the rest of the game” to save space on the text

If the codebase had been rebuilt, having built-in mechanics annotations in game would have been simple. Instead you learn everything the hard way, losing because you didn’t understand how something was coded.

I mean, you silence a taunt minion, kill it, then res it, it’ll have taunt again. To remove something from a minion so it doesn’t have the effects when it comes back, you’d have to silence it before it’s even first played
and what annotation would you be expecting ?
“permanent enchantements apply to all the bwonsamdis you will play this game, even those not already in play, even those you will resurrect, even if they are silenced, even if bwonsamdi moves back in the zone order, but will not be permanent on the minions summoned by bwonsamdi and won’t apply to other copies of those minions not generated by bwonsamdi…”
If you want a novel on every card to explain every single edge case then you shouldn’t be playing Hearthstone

If you don’t like the core philosophy of the game about accessibility, and you don’t like how every single card is written, then maybe you should not play that game
It’s not rude to say what should be obvious but apparently isn’t
I use the fact that my silver hand recruits cant have their +2/+2 silenced with starfish, opponents stuff silenced, but not my 3/3-7/7s
