Shuffling cards into a deck messes up Overplanner and Dredge

I’ve just had a game where I used Dredge, picked a minion, the opponent attacked with < Staff of the Primus > and suddenly my turn started by me drawing a completely different card, not even one of the plagues shuffled. same thing happened, in the same game with Overplanner where the cards I picked somehow reached the bottom of the deck… fix this issue its horrible

Shuffling a card in a deck shuffles the entire deck, that what shuffling does, that’s intended

“shuffling a card” meaning is taking a card and randomly placing it into the existing deck.
If they said, “Add a plague to your opponent’s deck and then shuffle it,” then that would make sense.

No. That’s not what “shuffle” means. When a card is shuffled into the deck, the entire deck is shuffled. This is to mimic real life shuffling of a card into a deck.

There is also a “put” mechanic in Hearthstone, most notably present in Voyage to the Sunken City with dredge and cards that add other cards to the bottom of your deck. These do not shuffle the deck.

In everyday language, that would be one way to interpret the meaning.

Shuffling the whole deck is also a valid way to interpret that.

Hearthstone uses the second meaning.
