Separate wild from standard!

Having played hearthstone for many years, wild had always been more fun to play. There was always more to see.
Whereas with standard, all there was, was “the meta”
Where you obtain a deck with a high win-rate and just play that repeatedly.

By separating wild from standard, you could change the cards so that they apply to their given modes. Standard can focus on “being balanced” even though it’s strictly balanced on legendaries… And then wild can pursue what it was meant to be. Fun. In crafting decks that are more synergistic. Using cards that encourage that.

That way “meme decks” can become more viable. Like, yeah… Yogg-Saron… In standard the rng is “great and all” but… Imagine if in wild the chances of it being effective and still not enough to instantly win a game could be boundless, because of many other viable legendaries… Along with a cap on how many legendaries you can have in a deck… Or maybe more hero health or more cards in a deck.

The way things are now punishes people for wanting to play a game. There is little personality in expectation of doing well with something like “an ogre deck” or a “christmas deck” or “inspiration deck”
DIfferent things that get phased out, and then not enough new cards come out to make them viable in wild again. If people even know the existence of certain cards. Can you imagine opening a pack with a card that would make you want to craft a whole deck just for it? If wild wasn’t neglected, then you could imagine.

Where Meta and aggro decks capitalize on the limitations imposed by standard, because most people can’t afford to get into hearthstone for wild.
Which gives the impression that there may be some intention of letting wild die off even though it is the best game mode. If more people were only able to easily obtain more cards. Throughout all of the sets. In a lot of ways wild is neglected. Yeah battlegrounds and duels are great and all, but… Wild. Where it’s depressing to play against anyone that clearly doesn’t have the cards they need to make their deck work, and depressing to lose to someone that clearly invested a lot of money or time in making their deck work.

The last point is that then, by separating wild from standard… You could have a separate app for standard. Everything that phases out could just move to wild and removed from standard thanks to the use of the same account.

Where… In wild, you could do off things like temporary mini sets or offer cards for completing achievements in wow or hearthstone. May sound bad, but think of all the poor people that are only able to buy packs and that’s it, when there can actually be many other ways to earn packs outside of hearthstone while still being profitable. Fun. For everyone.
Instead of forcing people to commit to hearthstone even though they may enjoy doing a few raids or playing a few games of hearthstone…

Just throwing out the idea… Maybe make a separate app for arena, battleground, tavern, and duels… The meme gamemodes. Maybe make solo adventure mode playable inside of wow. Right next to the pokemon battles. That way long time wow or hots players can just go and try out hearthstone and see they earned many packs instead of starting out as empty as everyone else… For wild. It’d be amazing.
