Pets coming to Hearthstone?

So my roommate just took a survey through Hearthstone that spoke of pets possibly coming to Hearthstone.

In this survey, the devs were curious as to how likely they were to purchase said possible pets with a variety of price ranges from $99 (lol) to $5 (usd)

Pets may possibly interact with the board, sit on the side or even be used as replacement timers. Possibly even dealing damage to other players and/or cast spells even possibly helping you.

My roommate was told to keep this confidential which they agreed. I didn’t agree soooo… Here’s what the devs are planning for the future of hearthstone.

They copied the idea from Legend of Runeterra, and while that game was fantastic, the pets were just ugly on the board. I hope they don’t do it to Hearthstone.

Rather give us custom board skins or something more serious and impactful.

As a F2P, I’m all for those ideas as long as they don’t affect the literal gameplay. Make all the pets and all the ragnaroses that cost 1 billion dollars I don’t care as long as they support the game and don’t affect gameplay; million times better this than p2w; make pets instead of “pay to get the netdecks faster” and “pay to get 2 more choices in BGs”.

I think this is fake news… I took the survey too and it was 50$ at the most… avarage was 20$ not 99$…

I also took the survey and I saw price points as high as $60. I also expressed my vehement opposition to the whole concept of microtransactions in general and said I wouldn’t spend any money on any of this at any price

I am not sure about that… WoW has a huge pet collection too…maybe the biggest collection in the world… companion pets, combat pets, mounts… but yeah… there are pets too… I tried it out too but really couldn’t understand why are there those small creatures…

I even saw as high as $80.

Unscrupulous scum they are.

The “confidential” thing, sounds like a psychological trick to make you interested. Almost everyone gets those questions (I closed the window today).

If you argue like this you could also claim they had it from the Sims. But LoR was the only CCG I can think of that had these pets on your side of the battlefield.

I am not arguing… lol… just told you I am not sure they would need to get this idea from another game than WoW… thats all… don’t really care…
