Galakrond Rogue has declined in its performance, and it’s running into one major issue in the current meta, which is striking a balance between the Demon Hunter and the Warrior matchups. It will be interesting to see if the archetype can find a solution. Highlander Rogue performs better against Warrior, but worse against Demon Hunter and many other decks, so its standing against the field just isn’t very strong.

Wow it turns out adding dragonqueen cheatstraza and the entire classic and basic set as a tech to your deck drastically improves your deck.

The playrate of Highlander Priest is “probably” impacted by including 9 non-free Legendaries (10 Legendaries including Galakrond) and 3 Epics.

truth, I spent all of my HoF dust completing this deck, which was like 12-15k (cant remember) dust, lol.
but no one ever really talks about it either =/… not that its some godly deck, but I think with further refinement it’ll land it self close the middle of t2 (by the end of this expansion), leaning more towards the top end. depending on how well exactly its able to deal with hunter, or how its better matchups fare going forwards.
it plays like a tempo deck, but it packs value and control (but i guess all highlander decks do that 
). great deck, easily teched and a genuine blast to play.
If you are Priest, yes; HL does that.
But if you are Rogue; it’s the opposite. But I just couldn’t help myself with the Star bonus to help me out. Now it may also be that too many people continue to run the Vendetta package, which is bad without Blink Fox.
Degenerate Zoo Warlock has also joined.
I remember that I also felt it’s basically the same thing as DR Apothecary Rogue.
I used to play as zoo warlock, then I decided to switch to a different deck. Should I consider myself reformed, or am I still a degenerate?
Nobody is going to convince me that highlander priest is going to perform better than galakrond priest in this meta particularly the list they have listed which includes quite a bit of trash in exchange for the Zeph dragon queen package.
Priest already suffers from inconsistency due to the fact that it cannot draw any cards (thanks again for that great idea devs). Putting a one of deck out there is just going to make that worse in match ups where it really matters like DH and aggressive hunter decks.
Not unless you played Degenerate Zoo.
If you played other varieties, then you never were degenerate in the first place.
Hearthstone is an degenerate game in first place.
I really not understand people that stay here if not for this when many other games with more " tactical" gameplay exists.
Someone saying they found an new “degenerate” deck is just another normal day at hearthstone at this point.
This isn’t good or bad. Just the nature of the game.

the two decks aren’t too far off from each other in power or meta relevance, but Zeph is a pretty damn good card. i feel like it opens up a wider range of possibilities and ofc, there’s still DQA which is also just a damn good card.
it just seems like there’s more you can do with the Highlander version than the dedicated Galakrond version 
So now we have:
Pure Face Hunter
Facish Warrior
Face DH with priestess to finish you off if face dont work.
Charge Face Warlock
Shaman and Paladin cant seem to just smorc face so they are dumpster tier. So sad.
Priest is only relevant because of warrior.
Warrior is the counter to face so its now Number 1.
Midrange is mostly ded
Control is 90% ded.
