So I’m not exactly a new player, I played from first set to about the end of 2020. But well that also mean a lot has happened since then !
As for my previous account consider it doesn’t exist, too lazy to explain, so I start up as “new account”. For a start I’m interested in the “card” experience, it’s unlikely I’ll play battleground. So let’s focus on that.
I got some questions.
- I’m a sucker for highlanders. Is wild playable in “casual” (I don’t mind staying low in rank but I’d like to win sometimes eh) for highlanders decks and meme deck in general ? Does rune system limit death knight highlander potential as I suspect ?
- I see there is a miniset system which unlock a preset of cards for a fixed cost. Am I correct to assume it’s not really interesting if you play few classes ? I tend to focus on 1-3 classes max.
- Death Knights players, I’m interested in the rune system and a class which promess versatility. What are the usual strengths and weaknesses of Death knight ?
- Demon Hunters, same questions (I barely scratched the surface since I stopped to play fairly quickly after its release)
- When I played, the usual strategy for pack spending is picking the more recent ones. Do I still spend my gold on latests packs (I know that rotation is soon) or is there better plans (mini-set, other) ?
- Anything I should be wary off except Rengar go face ? I’m pretty thrilled to start again. HS and me parted in bad terms, but the newbies freebies seems good and the starting decks looks surprisingly decent (won all my match so far but I suspect only bot fight, the opponents played extremely bad even by newcomers standards I doubt it was players)
