True. I haven’t played the deck but it’s ridiculous when they got to do their thing in STANDARD.

i kind of imagined warmaster blackhorn would counter this, but now it doesn’t hit cards in hand so it kind of doesn’t anymore.

Adding more stats is nothing compared to the unfair kinds of removal/silence/card generation/etc that other non-Paladin classes have.

It can’t. It only returns to your hand at the end of the turn.

So, none of the things you said were true – UNLESS there were other effects going on that you conveniently didn’t mention.

Wild was in a sweet spot with blackhorne in charge, people like it or not.

Shame he got the nerfhammer, heaven forbid you’re allowed to disrupt insane combo. Hitting cards in deck only means nothing if they’re already holding their combo cards, which they will be by the time he drops

It deletes decks…in Wild, where everyone has either discount or ramp to play it early, the devs could have just banned it in wild,wouldn’t be the first time something was banned in Wild but not Standard.

I don’t think you need the intervention of the warmaster for the standard schoolyard fights but rather where the real degenerate combos are, in wild they should leave it the same and in standard just increase the cost…
