Nefarian’s hero power did not activate in the game of Battlegrounds I played today. I clicked the hero power, and then nothing happened at the start of my turn. I tried three times and it did not work once.

just to rule out some scenarios: you didnt by any chance try to click it just as the rope ended?
Same thing happened to me. Tried three times, and it never fired. Then I went up against a player who had quit with an empty board, and it went off, even though I hadn’t activated it that turn. At first, I thought it was because I had a Red Whelp, and the “Start of Combat” was conflicting, but then I sold the Whelp and still couldn’t get it to activate.
Same here. 3 times, did not trigger.
Same here. It worked the first time I used it then never after. It still animated when I clicked the hero power (well before rope started burning) but didn’t work in the round. I tried closing the app and restarting the session but it still didn’t work. Fun times. I’m on android.
I didn’t keep a complete record of times when I paid for it and it didn’t fire, but it happened at least 3 times in a run where I won first place. I also had one go off when I didn’t pay for it (one round I paid for it and it didn’t fire, then the next round I didn’t pay for it and it fired).
Nefs power fails when you are:
A. Not first to attack.
B. Have less creatures than opponent. (hard to check)

Dito. Couldn’t figure out when it did or didn’t trigger. The Red Whelp would always trigger, but the Nefarian hero power only about half the time.
Same with me, worked only sometimes

I also had this issue, pretty much ruined my already kinda bad run

In a game right now with Neferian. Hero power is not working at all. 
Had this same problem, also in reverse,
Cast it with plenty of time to spare, it didnt pop, however the round AFTER, i didnt use it, and it DID go off. like a weird delay
Yup. Same issues here. Purchased it three rounds in a row and it didn’t proc a single time and then randomly proc’d when I didn’t buy it. Got 8th place that round in part because of this bug. Frustrating to say the least and especially when you lose MMR because of shotty patch testing
Same here, lost 99 MR because of the Hero Power not trigger 2 turns.
Game finished 10m ago.
I find this thread suspicious as very few of these accounts can post in the play mode discussion forums and also very few have more than 1 post and also there is only one account with a selected profile icon. Maybe its just me but this could be a person and their 15 alt accounts.
