Man, I remember there used to be a time when hunters cried for a 6 mana 3 damage AoE
Now they can do it for 2 (or 4, if you count casting it first time)
And instead of every second paladin running murloc, it looks like they want every second paladin to go auras.
Sindragosa’s triumph will either be too clunky/inconsistent to pull off mana cheats, or it can do so and enable some really silly things. There is no in between. There are cards that can give it spell damage while it’s in hand right? Well that would make it pair well with the new 10 mana spell that summons a 6/6 dragon… though it might feel bad if the triumph discount hits it and so you’re wasting a lot of the discount.
With rotation gelbin’s triumph may be fairly consistent giving paladins what they want. Even if it’s not the optimal choice, most auras are useful. I get the feeling that instead of almost every paladin going murlocs, it’s gonna be almost every paladin going auras.
Too lazy to check, but how many priest legendaries can survive a 4 hit AoE (and obviously the lower the cost, the better)? Well, failing that, maybe they unironically run Thalnos so they can do 3 mana 5 damage AoE (and draws a card with Thalnos DR). I wonder if imbue will be “smart” when deciding whether you have enough mana to cast it. It’s no re-package, but it’s probably the closest thing to a board reset.
If only there were non-minion legendary cards a priest could control… o my.
Going to say it before mal can, but the mage card is probably the worst of the bunch
that new mage card could reduce by 8 if you use the legendary kalec
I noticed that too, but I don’t have your knowledge, so I was hoping I was wrong, lol
medivh triumph is a holy spell!! perfect for quest priest!
The Hunter card is by far and above the best. That will see tons of play.
The Druid one could be crazy good. If you hit a 5 mana minion, you could draw it and play a double stat minion on 5 which could be brutal.
the minions the druid cards create cost 8 or more so no 5 mana minions sorry
Oh good catch. I read it as 8 minions that cost 5 or more lol
That’s definitely worse unless the 8 mana pool is filled with killers.
Could be brutal against aggro if you can cheat it out.
Definitely agree about the hunter one, smorc hunter i bet will definitely be back
Another dog water card for Mage that has you jumping hoops to maybe see an upside.
And Medivh in Priest lmao, love the card and Priest but can we stop spitting on Mage grave???
On a courtesy basis i like to be wined and dined before you screw me, least you can do.
Azshara’s is nice, but can be countered with a steam cleaner. Wildwood looks like decent quest support.
Sindragosa’s looks a bit clunky, but I think it’s meant to help you do dragon combos? If it hits either of two fabled dragons, then you can basically do an oathstone play twice.
Gelbin looks good, but keeps treasurescale from always hitting acceleration aura.
Mediv is good. Plenty of legendaries that you just play for the battlecry, also the fabled non-minion ones, also egg if you want one to stick around for repeated activations. Anyone know off the top of their head if the Elise location is considered legendary?
So, anyone ready to concede that the treatment of mage is deliberate?
No way they do this every expansion on accident.
the mage card is not that bad. not that good, maybe, but not that bad.
I wont go so far as to say the mage card is great - the fact that it hits a random card makes it just average.. but it has the potential to net 2+ mana (cast for 5 - discount for 7+) which are usually useful cards. The card would downright absolute busted though if that 3 mana freeze and summon a copy of a minion card was still in standard
Also the priest one is only 1 if you have a legendary minion on the board - is that how that card is to be read.. because if its only in hand then thats a pretty busted card.
The rest of them are pretty blah.. I guess the hunter one is ok if theres still multiple ways to discover it post rotation
Now i see why crusader aura is being removed
It’s literally the ONLY aura I fear. LOL
I’m so done with that spell. Bloodlust on steroids for cheaper.
Sindragosa’s Triumph will probably see as much play as Celestial Ink Set did, which is not a lot. Kinda unreliable, again, only hitting one minion for 5 mana.

You’re not classy enough to deserve dining and wining! ASSUME THE POSITION FOR BLIZZ!!!
