Hello everyone,
After playing several games during the last year, I came up with a (maybe not new) idea to give a larger experience to new players:
To expand a little more the diversity of pre-constructed decks to 2 decks, instead of only 1, for each expansion.
I hope this won’t suppose a large effort from the HS developpers. The gain obtained, my guess, would really be appreciated from players in order to reduce certain repetitiveness encountered. I also do know the game is built in a way 2 games are never the same. Nevertheless certain decks are played over and over again, and just by suggesting others decks from the start, this effect could probably be reduced.
Idk if this idea has already been taken into account and so rejected for some reasons I can’t imagine, but I hope this could somehow help.
Thank you for this fantastic game and good game all!

The idea is good. It would start good, but eventually the meta will settle and it will probably be back to a handful of decks.
I agree, as someone that gets bored quickly, the repetitiveness can get frustrating at times.
I think there should always be at least 2 viable decks for each class.
What might also help is if they did more regular patches, not just based on a card/deck’s strength, but on the amount of time it’s played. I have seen other card games do this and I like it.
The changes don’t have to be big. Small changes can sometimes make a big difference.

Well thanks for your reply.
After giving it some thought, I assume with the limited number of cards of each expansion, which I understand is a very fine number, it seems quite unlikely to be able to get 2 strong preconstructed decks for each class. At the same time, predefining too much decks can also be counter-productive towards the creation of a diversity of decks.
So all in all, I guess this idea was nothing new and this possibility can be much more difficult to put into practice than it seems. After there all there are 11 classes and with each expansion new initiatives appear to create different decks.
