Modernize the damn client already

its bad enough to verse priests and lose to dk talanji scam flavor of the month so can we for the first time in 10 years, try to do it in style? ill admit that in game when in a match itself the animations are pretty smooth and clean but lets make them a little heavier, more impactful.

dont even get me started on the “home screen”. watching old hearthstone videos from 1995 and its literally the same game. thats so unfair and uncool to the playerbase.

ive said this before in an old thread but i remember the day league of legends updated their client like i remember that same patch. it was incredible. im also seeing jagex doing absurdly amazing things with their client and this is a company famous for ignoring feedback/updating ui in general. even the evil companies are revamping why isnt my lovely blizzard making a move?

match history? profiles? can you imagine?

i want to spend more time on this game that could simply be for editing my profile or looking at my match history or something you know

Dude, every time they update Hearthstone’s UI they make it worse. You think you want it, but what you could get will be worse.

If I had a choice between modernizing Hearthstone client, them releasing Warcraft 4, or Jessica Alba becoming my girlfriend, I think you know what I would pick

It’s true, especially on mobile. The game client is so heavy and clunky.

They keep adding store garbage in the client that needs to connect to different servers and it takes ages on mobile.

I don’t think their management has any working braincells… ITS A 12 YO APPLICATION numbnuts, stop adding garbage to it. The user experience is trash already.

Aye, it’s a cash grab client. People keep asking for things that if they think about it they’d hate the outcome.

Warcraft 4, definitely

here at my core i7-1065g7 Cpu @ 1,30 GHz (clock speed 1501MHZ) & iris grafik card laptop, the game ui all run very smooth…i think priest is a bigger problem

I agree and at the very minimum they should let us have more prepared decks. 27 is not enough.

It’s not really a processor issue. It’s more of animations issue with some specific animations being fairly horrendous.

As someone who has been playing Hearthstone since day one I have to last the absolute LAST thing I want to see it Blizzard change it in the way you suggest.

The first thing I do when installed on a different system is turn any optional ‘enhanced’ graphical crap off.

It is about the game mechanics and gameplay, not unnecessary aesthetics, and I’m glad Blizzard focus on making a game you can play again and again that changes enough to make every week/month feel new rather than sacrificing gameplay and instead focusing on how it looks.

I also don’t want to see my system bogged down with unnecessary bloat, more space taken up than is necessary, or a game that is unrecognisable from its origins. - it is after all a fictional gane played within the World Of Warcraft.

In fact what I would love to see is a completely stripped down version of the gane, that entirely focuses on the gane without ANY of the graphical enhancements they have added over the years…. A much smaller, more universally compatible , core gane, that takes up less space and runs with good stability on all operating systems.

They just don’t have the skill. The entire game is built on Unity which is embarrassing for a big corporation because that’s a good engine only if you’re indie or a small company.

Blizzard is historically only artists and even WoW had very crap code and the only reason it gets updates is that it’s just more profitable so they throw more money at it.
