I was looking through my collection and noticed that alot of the gold classic cards cannot be crafted and say unlocked after 500 wins or so many wins. I have over 7000 wins. Why don’t I have the gold cards?
It sounds like you are actually referring to Golden Core cards for which 88 cards come from Classic.
To check Classic cards you need to select Legacy for the card set (beside mana gems).
Golden Core class cards unlock for individual class Ranked, Arena, and Duels wins.
Golden Core neutral cards unlock for combined class Ranked, Arena, and Duels wins.

Otherwise, state specific (and full) card names.
Make sure you click on the achievement in the progression tab for the required stage. I had the same confusion until I did this.
