Hey this info might be helpful. The app has been freezing on my Galaxy J3. I cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. Interestingly after starting the app I chose not to sign in but chose the “new player”. This way i was able play through the tutorial games at least. But it ended up freezing after I finished them. Thanks

I’m having the same thing after the update. Game tries to load, gets stuck on title screen, drops to desktop. I also uninstalled the game & tried a fresh install.

Devices:

  • LG Rebel 4, Android 8.1.0, stock. Freezing before main menu.

  • ZTE N9136, Android 6.0.1, stock. Crashing before main menu.

Logs mention it trying to download mission sounds, “_MainTex” not having (or being?) a texture, and that the save is not being properly loaded because a DB problem.

The Google Play Store shows that the app was updated ~8 days ago. Are they sure that it was properly updated? I mean, obviously it’s broken, but maybe it’s because of a version bump with no app changes?

Why have the Android problem(s) not been acknowledged on Reddit, or even actually ack’d on Twitter? Had to find it in a reply to a reply to the post about iOS issues…lol.

Also, there’s some interesting typos like “Renegos” in the blog post, “Wreck havoc” in the Google Play Store “Event” description, and “logigng” (or something similar) in the log files.
