There is an autosquelch plugin for my deck tracker. Haven’t had to deal with emoters in years.

I don’t think that emoting “Greetings” when the game starts bothers many players.
Emoting / roping before doing a combo, OTK, etc does.

lol I always taunt over and over when I know I am going to win in like 3-4 turns

I just squelch soon as the match starts, because more often than not i get someone who spams threaten when they think they’re about to win

saying “Well played” at the end of a game, any game, is how most civilizations have been ending their matches/games for like eons. Its professional, its courteous, its a sign of respect to the other player(s), its also a sign of maturity and good sportsmanship to both parties/players. You should have “Well Played” as part of your muscle memory phrases at the end of any game you engage in in the same way you might say “bless you” to someone sneezing, or saying thank you when someone passes/gives you something. Or how you should be replying to any “I love You” with an “I Love you too” when on the phone regardless of who is saying it to you. Your actual feeling of if you love them too isnt relevant, as not saying it back will only make the conversation super awkward and basically makes a pleasant end to the convo impossible.
