I lost to multiple DH so I switched to my egg warrior deck. The moment I started playing it I got matched against SIX PRIESTS in a row…How is this even possible??
Fed up with DH, fed up with priests. Quite frankly fed up with this game at this point. Devs are clearly on vacation and completely ignore what’s going on in their own game. GG
the meta is dominated by very spesific and broken decks,a lot of op decks that went wild came back but with outlands cards instead,dh in general is a problem, res priest after turn 9 is impossible to beat especially with the eye of the obelisk quest, shadow jeweler is just broken,so are so prime cards.im close to completing my decks so i dont wanna stop playing but its such a toxic and unbalanced meta.worse than knights of the frozen throne.i would much rather fight a shadow anduin than respriest,no minion mage, murloc paladin, and any dh deck
I am glad I am not the only one who has noticed this. I get rekt consistently by one particular deck so I switch to a counter deck and I play against the counter to my deck? the f***. It happens way too often.
And why, please explain, should there be ANY such a system in place? Especially since there would also need another half of players who get matched against decks their deck is extremely good against, right?
It’s just confirmation bias, there is not a single solid statistic of such effects.
Tilt them? Seek different decks and buy more packs? I know it sounds crazy and hopefully no such system exists but I’ve heard about some dodgy Activision tactics in the past.
Weird coincidences like that happen way too often. I’m not saying it’s true but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some crazy system in place to get more money off people, especially when activision is involved.
I sure hope you are being sarcastic. There is no way that someone actually believes that this game is completely safe from any kind of code that effects winrates , matchups or rng in this game. I like this game but even I know that I am not in control in hearthstone.
No, they don’t. You THINK they happen way too often, but they just don’t.
The easiest way to lift this curse from you is starting to write EVERY matchup down, and you’ll soon see that this all remains perfectly within normal statistics, as so many before you have done.
I’m sure you are familiar with the concept of selective memory, confirmation bias etc., basically all the ways our brain desperately WANTS to find patterns among randomness, so much that it alters our perception if there just are no patterns in reality.
Then check your last 100 matchups, and you’ll see that they’ll check out with the general percentage of played classes/decks, and you simply don’t remember all the times you had completely normal matchups.
Sorry, my English is not good enough for that. It is a little from psychology, a little from thermodynamic and statistics. In short, the ladder has a definite rhythms and you can either stay still and in a long run get your stats or you can try to catch the wave.
if i can predict an outcome, perform the experiment and be absolutely right…down to the deck i will face, in front of witnesses, then it isnt confirmation bias, its fact.
you are absolutely 100% matched up based on whats in your deck. you dont even have to switch decks a lot of times, just switch tech cards and watch the match ups change instantly.
I’ve had situations like this, you’re not wrong in that neither deck is fun at all to play against and are fairly common.
Also be sure that you’re not queuing into the same person again and again…6 priests in a row is highly unlikely, unless you and one of the priests you lost to insta re-queued into each other.
