Yep. Apparenlty schyla and I have been so repeatedly owned that we stopped responding out of embarassment. They left you out of their post, though, which I thought wasn’t fair. You deserve credit for getting pwned, too.

Because people in gaming forums often treat them as battlegrounds to get another win. That’s not very efficient to do; a forum will never succinctly announce to you “you won”; it’s more helpful to treat forums as places of discussion.
If they want to get another win I suggest to play a video game like Hearthstone.

I disagree. A notification that someone liked your post produces essentially the same neurochemical effect. Also, high post counts on a thread are in a different color. If the forums weren’t some kind of PvP game, why design them with the affordances of one?

I had a Netflix account in 2018, but I still identify as a subscriber. It’s just like with virginity or getting a tattoo - once you cross the line, there’s no turning back.

Likes mean no “I won” because you don’t know if even more visitors disliked you internally and high post counts might be a loss rather than a win.
A dopamine high isn’t a win but a feeling of a win.
Only a literal game of rules gives clear wins.

Yes, but they refuse to grant me access to their movies and TV shows.
I pointed them at this thread and said that once you have paid for the service, you’re a paying customer, and that I wanted to be treated as such. Can’t wait for their response.
