Yes, I have suspected that as well, simply because streamers are the best free game promoters who indirectly generate revenue for the compnay by attracting new and returning players.
I just went 16-3 to Legend 268 in the last 3 hours.
How is that possible if the cap is “4-5” ?

Logic makes zero sense. Rarran, who is one of the largest streamers for HS, has gone on large LOSS streaks with little to no wins on some of the challenges he imposes.
Just admit its a pure skill issue and you refuse to believe that your losses are of your own volition.
Take responsibility for being bad!?
The NERVE
Don’t you know its impossible for anyone to be bad at this game. Any loses you incur are the games fault and the dastardly rigging AI.
I hacked the game so i can go beyond the 5 win limit each day. It mostly involved me sending a HS developer $5 but there was some other shenanigans involved.
Which dev!? I sent one $20 but they refused to adjust my win percentages!
Bro, that’s straight-up flat-earther circular logic ![]()
ok ima stop writing 500 word essays.
lmao wait until you find out about the activision whitelist, i love how you tried to mock him but you are so clueless
Yea sure, I’m the clueless one. ![]()
Just the other day I had won about 10 of like 13 games. So why was the limit not in place?
A few weeks ago, in one day I managed to win 15 games out of 34. So why was the limit not in place?
The people in this thread have posted long win streaks. So why was the limit not in place?
Why do you play this game if you believe the dev team is intentionally limiting wins? Surely someone who hates this game or suspects that something aloof is happening will surely drop the game all together.
I will happily await your response oh wise one.
Dont take everything literally thats such a clueless interpretation. Its about the process.
Oh i got 6 wins today that is proof the win limit is not 5 wins. Op is an idiot i am the proof.
Its not like that. Its more that after winning a lot the system sees room for you to also start losing a few games. So you get harder matchups. The system races up the difficulty of your matchups very quickly after only a few wins to keep everyone near 50%.
If internal mmr is done properly wining even 5 games in a row should not result in your internal mmr beeing so much higher that you now face considerably stronger opponents/matchups. But this is what seems to be the case and how the system is working. Which will very much feel like a winlimit when playing.
You quickly hit a (temporary) wall of very difficult matchups. This is probably done to smooth out the experience over time. Which would be very rough with huge swings up and down in a normal situation seeing the massive randomness in the game. Blizzard i think tries to minimize the effect to some extend. To avoid the downswing resulting in players getting fed up with the game.
I dont know this thread. For some reason it is tilting me more then the usual rigging thread. The new bg expansion beeing an incredibly imbalanced high and lowroll mess isnt helping but it cant be the only explanation.
After going through all the replies, I’m truely uplifted by the realization that most people here are wonderfully kind-hearted and refreshingly sincere.
There’s a beautiful innocence in the belief that the world operates fairly, without manipulation or deceit, and that business at its core is meant to make life better for everyone.
It’s inspiring to witness such optimism and goodwill. Hats off to you all.
I am well aware of the MMR system. You can’t win forever obviously. What’s ludicrous is thinking you have a hard cap limit of the amount of wins you get per day. It is not me taking it literally, its me calling BS on the premise.
Why do you play then?
Stop deflecting, answer the questions.
Not once did you refute any points. You are willingly playing blind becuase you know you can’t prove it. And the crazy part? You continue to play it despite thinking that the game is woefully going against you every match. I am starting to think you are a masochist at this point.
I keep playing because, even if I believe the game has elements that feel rigged, it’s built to be engaging and highly addictive. That combination makes it hard to step away just like most entertainment that’s meant to hook you.
Then I feel sorry for you.
I hope one day you break away from the chains of addiction and the company with whom you so claim is against you.
If you need help, I am sure there are resources that help addicts who are unable to break away from toxic environments, relationships, and situations.
Thank you for the sympathy, but I was speaking about the industry’s design choices, not my own situation.
I’m comfortable with how I manage my time.
They admit addiction in one post and then reject the idea they are personally addicted in the next.
Boggles the mind, does it not?
