I think HS has a daily win limit

I suspect the game has a hidden daily win limit designed to keep the overall win rate around 50%.

Suppose you’re winning with a taunt deck and suddenly you keep queuing into opponents with Black Knight and dispels. On top of that, you start mulliganing the same cards and drawing the biggest cards first.

In my experience, the daily win limit is 4 to5. If you’ve already won 5 games today, take a break from HS and play again after 24 hours.

my god people are so biased about themselves, they prefer think about some bs conspiracy theories than they just lost the game or played bad.

So how you justify some decks are below 50% winrate and some around 60% ?

That it’s rigged, duh

I won 30 times before. Also 15 times 8n a row happened.

Suppose you have a 60% winrate, the chance for winning 30 straight games is 1 in 4.5 million.

4.24% if your winrate is 90%.

Next you are going to say that Streamers bypass the “daily wins” and hence why they can get more than 5. Oh brother.:roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

This is not How odds work.

Every time you open a card in your pack It has less than 1% of appearing and we not call packs rigged.

Yeah, there’s a instinctive need to pass the blame.

I’ve got the 1k win portrait on every hero, and on every class my aggregate win rate is over 50%. It’s weird that I managed this with a system trying to cap my wins.

Hearthstone devs hate this one simple trick! Learn how this player bypassed the systems in place!!!

Honestly, it baffles me to see so many conspiracy or hate posts from people with over 2k posts. They’re always here, spending time on a forum game they supposedly hate with all their soul.

I mean, even ignoring the lack of proof or logical arguments, why are they still playing a game they claim is rigged or terrible :man_facepalming:

This can’t be a real post.

Uhhhhhh then you don’t have a 60% win rate. I have won over 25 games in a row myself and others have gone 82-0 with screen shot proof on reddit with Druid in Classic Mode due to all the bots.

I’ve said this several times here, but it’s worth repeating.

None of these people, and I do mean none of them, play the game actively AND think it’s rigged to make them lose.

No one, and I do mean no one, that is sane, plays a video game they really believe is rigged against them. You would simply quit playing said game.

Only a complete moron with severe brain damage would do such a thing.

Thus, my conclusion is they still play but they don’t really truly believe it’s rigged. They just tell themselves that to make themselves feel better and vent their frustrations here.

A true believer in the conspiracy would uninstall.

If you win more than you lose then you need to face stronger opponents.

And even the best of the best players do lose games.

I set my daily loss limit to 1 again. Its a mental thing.

Reddit is filled with complaints about the exact thing i was woried about right after reveal. Expressed in a post on a thread which unfortunatly got deleted.

With my loss limit beeing 1 a day i have not played many games yet. But the impression i got from stream (jeef) was that the high and lowroll with timewarp was somewhat limited. He wins no matter what he gets. Often even selling the timewarped minion.

But other streams seem to point to the timewarp high and lowroll having indeed a massive impact. The highroll more so then the lowroll. The highroll overcomes mediocre/bad play. The lowroll can be overcome to some extend with good play.

I guess this is a thing that better balance can overcome to some extend eventually but that might take time seeing the wide range of powerlvl.

I dont fully understand the direction. Its clearly away from bran and into titus. With 2 very basic and very powerfull t6 dr minions. On the other hand apm is still very much a thing also in builds that are basicly not apm.

Anyway will see how it goes. There is some fun things and the skill cap seems to be quiet high which is a good thing.

Surprised noone made a thread yet to discuss the update. So just dumping this here.

Tldr if the game has a win limit my suggestion is to counter if with a loss limit yourself. Set it very low st the start and then eventually you can try slowly increase it. Algos hate this trick. (Jk).

I’ve had ladder win streaks (and the corresponding achievement points) of 10+ wins in a row on several occasions. On some of my legend climbs I temporarily fielded decks with 80-90% win rates until they fell off

I’ve also had some long losing streaks but I don’t think quite as many. Usually when I’m just memeing around but occasionally when I was actually trying to be competitive.

AI does not take mmr/ranks into account. it is not just about the odds.

You know a deck, you know what other players are likely to play based on class and early cards.

if you don’t play for 1 day early in the season you will get 2-3 easy matches.

if you dont play till day 15 of the season you can get 30 easy games, unless you have the bad luck to run into a hard counter for your particular deck.

think of it this way if you finish at legend 10,000, if you play at hour 1, day 1 of the season you have a high chance of playing someone else that finished as legend.

if you play your first game of the season on day 2 you won’t play other legendary players until your rank has climbed a little.

this effect may be fooling you into thinking you are hitting some sort of hard floor, your not.

So if both players reached their daily limits and match against each other do they both just instantly explode upon entering the game?

Yes, because the game is rigged remember?

The world explodes and it restarts.

Some say that was how the original big bang first started.

The system matches players who have reached the maximum limit against players who haven’t.
