I love being dead turn 4 every game

What an amazing expansion. High skilled based above all.

Of course, like all games it’s entirely dependent on RNG. The usual slobs playing dragon warrior though seems hard coded since I’ve never seen a warrior NOT draw the exact cards needed to effectively end the game on turn 4. And if you don’t get the appropriate draws to counter it there’s nothing you can do. Same with the mindless drones playing aura pally with so much passive play they’re not even required to be present. Or the mouth breathers playing the Dk that with the right RNG welfare check get a full board of 21+ damage with elusive on turn 3. I guess I forgot about the degenerate Pallies who get a full board of 24+ damage with divine shields on turn 4…lol. Such mindless slop.

Such pro design. I can’t recall a single game of hearthstone in recent years that had anything to do with intelligent plays. Every game entirely determined by who draws best.

Complete high roll. Every match is someone concedes the second they recognize high roll has ended the game. Crazy anyone still looks at this and thinks its skill based. I think maybe it has always been like this but they used to hide it better.

100%. But I do think in the early days there weren’t so many highroll cases that would essentially make the player presence totally irrelevant, or game altering on one random minion or spell (or ending a game on turn 3). They also used to have some decent adventure modes that were fun to play too. Now all there is, is slot machines where you play some slob that emotes like they had something to do with a game’s outcome even though their entire game was determined for them by random effects that just happened to be exactly what saves them from a loss.

Power creep has been an issue after Ben Broden left…This guys are just printing stuff that you find OP so that you buy the card…Simple as that. Welcome to MilkStone

This game is becoming yugioh, decided in the first couple of turns if not the first, and everyone hates the current state of that game. I keep coming back hoping it’s better, it’s getting easier and easier to stay away. The devs really, really don’t know what to do to keep players interested AND keep the game fun for both players (someone has to win, someone has to lose). They could try, but they don’t. Right now blizzard is saying this game needs to make $$$$$, and if it doesn’t it’s getting shut down, just like they said to the OW guy. Bring in the milking machines, harvest the whales. This game is making money from the streamers. You don’t need a game fo everyone to enjoy when the whales and streamers keep the servers going.

Except they’re not printing OP cards lol, look at the class set, they’re printing “fair cards” that turn out to be unplayable garbage because they let Warriors, Paladins, Shamans all still have their “unfair cards” that just demolish anything that dares to be off-meta. And they just said they’re happy with this meta, only adjustment needed was taking an attack point off of Slitherdrake apparently.

Thinking that the 6 damage on slitherdrake was the problem just shows what degenerates the devs are.

Then this game is perfect for you :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I mean yeah this game is a 2 player slot machine. Almost everything is decided by the AI rng numbers with minimum input from the players in either direction. People still play because the minimum input they’re allowed gives them an illusion of skill when they win and that they are not really responsible of their losses (which is often correct)

I mean the design philosophy for this gme has always been “stories to tell your friends” so it having to capitalise on streamers and their base of loyal blizzard whales is just how this game is designed.

Regarding the games being decided when they start… this has always been like this, the design of how trades work on this tempo heavy game and minimal advantage to the 2nd player to overcome this means that almost every deck has a 10% winrate difference from going first or second. Its just abysmal and they never bothered correcting it so it will just continue until the game dies.

It’s not often I post been playing blizzard games for years - enjoy hearthstone - not hardcore but casual serious - I push high diamond every month.

I played 12 games this morning - way more than usual but it was fun because I went 2-10 - I had 5 turn 4 loses, 3 turn 5 loses, and a crazy RNG turn 3 loss. Meanwhile I had several 9-10-11 cost cards in my hand - playing Herald Warlock… Game is not fun when a morning like today happens. Nothing like my dog looking at me as I cuss out a game.

Game has power creeped way to far and going to take a break from standard. Thank goodness BG is still enjoyable.

BG also has some crazy rng but that game mode is about luck, i do not mind it. But standard should be strategy battle and actually you have only RNG factor. Same with Arena. I do not know who lied to them this will be what players want.

Forum is full of players complaining, no one said it is what they want, and they push RNG every time even more…
