This hero has not been offered for long so I decided to choose it. I have played it as usual, first turn bought a minion, second turn lvl up. Then in third turn I bought a minion and hero power.
What a surprise, the hero power just killed me inmediatelly…
This hero was offered to me, the moment i clicked the hero power i exploded

Exact same thing happened to me. Press button, VS screen shows up, hero blows up, fade to grey. Game nuked. I guess emergency patch incoming.

I had just begun a match in Battlegrounds. It was around round 3 or four when I used his hero ability “Friendly Wager” Upon clicking the button it instantly conceded my match.
I’m not sure whether it REALLY is a bug and it’s hard to reproduce the bug since you can’t pick a hero consistently, so I want to know and/or warn others, because things are looking suspicious.
So, I picked Lord Barov, hero powered turn 1 with empty table, it showed me the “VS” animation and just destroyed my hero instantly, placing me at 4th place, but still resulting in -100 rating. After that, the game “disconnected” (and my internet connection was perfectly fine, I monitor my connection constantly) - and that’s it.
The thing is, I’ve met 2 more disconnected players playing Lord Barov, and both of them had a bugged avatar of Lord Barov + Kel’Thuzad at the same time, with empty boards and 8th place.
My suspicion is - hero powering as Lord Barov causes you to lose the game instantly, so…beware, I guess.
UPD: I’ve found some other reports, so I’ve got my answer. Gonna leave the topic open for now in case I have a chance to test whether it happens on turn 2+ and/or with a full board too - so I can provide more details. Maybe it’ll help to fix the issue faster.
